OVERSIZED BAGGAGE

Virgin Atlantic permits each passenger a free baggage allowance, when dimensions do not exceed 90 x 75 x 43cm, (35.5 x 29.5 x 16in).

When dimensions exceed those of the permitted free allowance, but are less than 190 x 75 x 65cm (75 x 29.5 x 25.5in), a fee of GBP40 / USD60 will apply. This fee is only payable at the airport.

Baggage pieces larger than 190 x 75 x 65cm, (75 x 29.5 x 25.5in), will not be accepted as checked in baggage, but as freight or cargo only.

Please note:

- The above GBP charges apply to all UK departures.

- For all other departures, the USD charge will be applied and converted to the local currency where applicable.
