Qualifying room rates to earn points exclude airline employee rates, inter-company or employee discount rates, free of charge rooms, any stays in connection with frequent traveller awards, gift certificates or other awards or discounts, wholesale, package tour operator, rates booked via online travel agencies, special packages at the discretion of the hotel, conference, travel industry discount, special discounted, travel agent, all merchant and long stays.

No points can be given for complimentary stays.
