All Virgin Atlantic flights depart from and arrive at Terminal 1.
When does my flight depart/arrive?
Unsure of your timings? It's best to be safe than sorry. Check your departure and arrival time with our handy Flight status tool.
What time should I arrive at the airport?
Leave those last-minute airport dashes to the big screen! We recommend that you arrive at least two hours before your flight is due to leave.
Do I need a visa?
Check out our Visa information pages for every country that we fly to.
Online check in
The best way to check in is online where you can pick your seat and print your boarding card. If you’re travelling with carry on baggage only, you can print off your own boarding pass and we’ll see you at the gate.
Counter check in and bag drop
Our check in and bag drop desks are located in Terminal 1, Ground floor. They open four hours before departure and close one hour before departure.
Getting to and from the airport
Alert! No camouflage!
Camouflage material is against the law in Barbados, as it's reserved only for the Barbados defence force. To avoid sticky situations at the airport and during your trip save the military look for home, be it clothing, bags or even swimwear.
We don't have our own Clubhouse at Barbados Airport, but our Upper Class customers and Flying Club Gold members may use our shared lounge, Club Caribbean VIP Executive Lounge.
Fly in style
Unwind in our Clubhouses and shared lounges, enjoy luxury dining onboard and get a great night's sleep in our fully flat beds. It's all part of the Upper Class experience.
Discover Flying Club
Flying Club Gold members get free access to all of our Clubhouses and any airport in which we have a shared lounge. Start your rewarding adventure today.
