Get up close to nature
Make like David Attenborough and hike through Tobago's rainforest with a local expert guide, or hire a jeep and explore the island safari style. Either way, you won't believe your eyes. Get more tips for exploring Tobago on our blog.
Dive among the wreckage
The diving in Tobago is second to none. Explore the bridge, deck and cabins of a wrecked ship, and spot manta rays and blacktip sharks. Then head back to one of these great places to stay.

Ready, steady, goat!
One of the quirkier highlights of the Tobago year is the Goat and Crab Racing Festival in Buccoo, where the jockeys run alongside their somewhat unusual charges. Afterwards, check out the local street food.
Super Sunday
It may not be a late night island but you can still have a great time. Head for Buccoo's Sunday School street festival to eat, drink and dance alongside the locals.
Feel the heat
If you're heading to Tobago in February and want to crank up the pace for a day or two, pop over to neighbouring Trinidad for one of the world’s best carnivals, the Trinidad Carnival.
