Our codeshare partners

Delta Air Lines

Virgin Atlantic is proud to be a codeshare partner with Delta – one of the world’s largest airlines. Our codeshare partnership means that we can connect you to and from a wide range of airports across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Our codeshare agreement with Delta Air Lines was first launched in June 2013.

Marking our five year anniversary

In February 2019, Virgin Atlantic and Delta are marking the fifth anniversary of their partnership between the UK and North America. And we’re celebrating! Throughout February, the Clubhouse at London Heathrow will serve commemorative dishes, and select Delta Sky Clubs in Atlanta and JFK will have special cocktails. And as with any good birthday, expect a few other special surprises along the way.

Since the partnership began in January 2014, we’ve flown a staggering 24 million customers, and together now operate 74 daily nonstop flights across the Atlantic. We’ve also made huge progress in upgrading the flight experience for our customers – from onboard WiFi to biometric boarding - and there’s lots more to come.

In 2019, we’ll be adding even more routes – including a nonstop service from Edinburgh to Boston, a second daily flight between Boston and London Heathrow, and new services from Manchester to Los Angeles. It’s a partnership we’re very proud of, and we can’t wait to see where it takes us next.
