• If you have a connecting flight, you can book your whole trip with one ticket and your bags will be checked right through to your end destination.
• Choose your seat in advance without any charge in Economy Classic, Economy Delight, Premium or Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic flights and in most Delta cabins*.

Our partnership is designed to make travel planning easy and as seamless as possible. In total, we now have over 40 daily direct flights between the UK and the US, depending on the season.

With Delta, we’ll take you to our most popular destinations more often. For example, we now have nine conveniently timed, daily direct flights to New York from London Heathrow between us.

Connecting with Delta for even more choice to US cities

Our partnership with Delta means we can connect to over 200 of the best destinations in the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Delta also have a daily flight straight to Philadelphia and Detroit, one of the world’s best connecting airports.

And now that we operate one of Delta’s three direct flights from London Heathrow to Atlanta, we can connect you to even more places, like Hawaii, Portland or New Orleans.

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Delta SkyMiles® loyalty programmes give you more benefits every time you fly, including priority boarding, exclusive lounge access, Reward Flights and more.

And you can easily earn and spend miles on any Virgin Atlantic or Delta Air Lines flight worldwide. The mileage, Tier Points and tier bonuses earned by Flying Club members on Delta flights are now the same as on Virgin Atlantic flights.

• If you’re a Flying Club member, you’ll earn miles on any Delta flight anywhere in the world, even if you’re not connecting from a Virgin Atlantic flight.
• If you’re a Delta SkyMiles® member you can earn and spend Medallion Qualification Miles on qualifying Virgin Atlantic flights.
• Gold and Silver Flying Club members will earn their Tier mileage bonus on Delta Air Lines flights.

Transferring between terminals

If you’re catching a Virgin Atlantic or Delta flight from another airline, please follow the purple signs for ‘Flight Connections’ where a bus will take you to Terminal 3. This is a free service departing every 6 to 10 minutes. Please allow about 20 minutes to travel between terminals.
