Travel Update: Winter Storm Fern – East Coast USA (24 - 26 January 2026)

We’re closely monitoring Winter Storm Fern, which is forecast to bring severe weather conditions across the East Coast of the USA from Saturday 24 to Monday 26 January. ·         Customers who booked through a travel agent or third party should contact their travel provider directly to make changes or discuss options, as we’re unable to process changes for third-party bookings.

If your flight is still scheduled to operate

Some flights to and from the East Coast of the USA are currently still scheduled to operate between 24 and 26 January. However, local weather and airport conditions may still cause delays or disruption.

This includes services to and from the following cities:

·         New York (JFK)

·         Toronto (YYZ)

·         Boston (BOS)

·         Washington (IAD)

·         Atlanta (ATL)

Customers due to travel on these routes are covered by our disruption policy. This means changes to existing bookings can be made in advance, without needing to wait for a flight to be officially delayed or cancelled.

You can move your travel to another date, free of charge, up to Thursday 29 January 2026, subject to availability in the same cabin and route.

·         If the same fare is not available, a fare difference may apply.

·         If you'd like to change your origin or destination, we’ll do our best to accommodate — fare differences may apply.

·         All changes must be made before your original departure date.

If your flight is still scheduled to operate but you no longer wish to travel, a full refund is only available if permitted by your ticket rules. You can request a refund here.

For those flying on a different East Coast route with one of our partner airlines, alternative options may also be available. For more information, please contact our Contact Centre.
