Minibuses are the cheapest way of travelling around St Lucia, and are available in most towns and villages. There's no schedule for the buses though – they leave once they're full. Taxis from designated taxi stands are the best choice if you're in a rush.
The currency in St Lucia is the East Caribbean Dollar (XCD). The US Dollar (USD) is also accepted in some places.
The electricity supply in St Lucia is usually between 220 and 240 volts, and the British 3 pronged plug is used.
