Win 1 of 15 prizes of 40,000 Virgin Points Competition
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 These terms and conditions govern your entry (or entries) to participate in the competition to win 1 of 15 prizes of 40,000 Virgin Points (“Prize”) which we will refer to as the “Competition”.
1.2 The 15 Prizes are split out over three (3) Prize Draw Periods (as defined below). There are five (5) Prizes to be given away per Prize Draw Period.

2. WHO WE ARE
2.1 This Competition is offered to you by Virgin Atlantic Airways Limited ("we", "us" or “our”).

3. THE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND RULES FOR THE COMPETITION
3.1 The below rules apply to the Competition. In addition to these rules, the Tesco Clubcard terms and conditions and the Flying Club terms and conditions apply.
3.2 Any person who breaches these terms and conditions or the rules below may be excluded from access to the Competition.
3.3 The following rules apply:
● You must:
1. Be a member of the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club programme (or sign up to become a member of the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club programme here);
2. Sign up for the first time (during the period 23 October 2020 to 28 January 2021) to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points via the Flying Club programme; and
3. Have at least £1.50 in Tesco Clubcard vouchers in your Tesco Clubcard account by 28 January 2021.
● You are not eligible to participate in the Competition if you have previously signed up to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points (even if you are no longer automatically exchanging your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points).
● You will automatically receive one (1) entry into each Prize Draw (as defined below) provided that you have not stopped automatically exchanging your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points before the end of the relevant Prize Draw Period (as defined below).
4. HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS
4.1 There are three (3) prize draw periods during the Competition (each being a “Prize Draw Period”):
1. 29 January 2021 – 6 May 2021;
2. 7 May 2021 – 22 July 2021; and
3. 23 July – 21 October 2021.
4.2 This Prize Draw Periods align to your Tesco Clubcard statement dates.
4.3 As noted in the above rules, provided you have not stopped automatically exchanging your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points before the end of the relevant Prize Draw Period, you will automatically receive one (1) entry into each Prize Draw. The “Prize Draw” is the selection of the five (5) Winners (as defined below) per Prize Draw Period, and will occur within thirty (30) days of the end of each Prize Draw Period.
4.4 Remember that you must have signed up for the first time (during the period 23 October 2020 to 28 January 2021) to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points before you can be eligible for an entry into any of the Prize Draws. You must also comply with the other rules noted above.
5. WINNER SELECTION
5.1 Five (5) individuals will be drawn at random within thirty (30) days of the end of each Prize Draw Period (“Winners”) and each shall win the Prize.
5.2 Winners will be contacted within 72 working hours following each Prize Draw by email using the email address registered to the Winners’ FC account. We may select another individual from the eligible pool if we are unable to contact you. Any alternative entrant will be selected at random in accordance with the procedure set out above.
5.3 The Virgin Points forming the Prize will be credited to each Winners’ FC account within seven (7) days after being contacted.
5.4 We will have the final overall decision over the selection of the Winners and this decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
5.5 If you are one of the Winners, we may verify your eligibility and check your identity. If you have been asked for proof of your identity and/or your eligibility, your failure to provide such proof within a reasonable time could result in your disqualification from the Competition or the withdrawal of the Prize.
5.6 All personal details and information you supply must be truthful and accurate.
5.7 Our employees and contractors (and their family members) (or those of any Virgin group companies) and the employees of our applicable third party partner(s) are excluded from entering the Competition and any entries by them will not be considered.
5.8 If there is any fault, misunderstanding, mistake or dispute concerning the operation of the Competition, including the acceptability of any entries, or the operation of any technical/communications system, our decision shall be final.
6. PRIZES
6.1 Unless we agree otherwise, no alternative Prize will be given to the Winners.
6.2 The Prize cannot be exchanged or transferred. No cash equivalent will be provided.
6.3 If you are one of the Winners, it is your responsibility to pay any and all applicable taxes on the Prize.
6.4 We will not award the Prize to you if to do so would be deemed unlawful.
7. YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS
We will use any personal details you have provided in connection with the Competition in order to operate the Competition that you are taking part in. As a member of the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club programme your personal data will be used in accordance with the Flying Club Privacy Policy.
8. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
8.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions removes or limits our liability for: (a) fraud; (b) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8.2 We will not be liable to you if you suffer loss or inconvenience because of the failures of persons or systems that we do not directly control (e.g. mobile phone network operators, internet service providers, software providers and telephone traffic handlers).
9. THE LEGAL POSITION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
9.1 These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and us. We reserve the right to change them and update them from time to time but if we do, we will post the changes on the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club website, the Tesco Clubcard website and the Tesco Clubcard mobile application.
9.2 If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be illegal, invalid, void or otherwise unenforceable it shall be severed from the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions which shall as far as possible continue in full force and effect.
9.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
