Assisting customers with hidden disabilities
Here at Virgin Atlantic we understand that customers with disabilities sometimes need additional help during their journey, and we offer a wide selection of support through our dedicated special assistance team.
Airports and aircraft cabins are unique and busy environments and if you have a hidden disability, such as autism or dementia, it can be difficult for us at the airport or onboard to recognise that you need assistance.
To improve this experience for customers we’ve designed a special symbol that will show anyone in a Virgin Atlantic uniform that you need some extra assistance, our staff have been trained to ask how they can help you.
Either download and print off our bookmark and slip it into your passport or take a photo of the symbol with your phone and show it to our staff along the way.
Alternatively you can pick up this badge to wear from any one of our Virgin Atlantic desks at the airport.
