Discover Jamaica
We can’t get enough of vibrant Jamaica. This is an island that has everything: incredible beaches, fantastically spicy food, laid back bars, the reggae spirit, rugged mountains, Blue Mountain coffee plantations, faded Georgian architecture and the urban energy of Kingston.
Stressed at work, or maybe a nervous flyer? Unwind inflight with some meditation exercises with Headspace, now available in the wellness section of our entertainment system.

Discover Jamaica
The Bob Marley Museum
Visit the King of Reggae’s former home and production studio, now transformed into a museum in his memory. While you're there, make sure you try his favourite dish, irie stew, at Bob’s Café. Music fans should also check out some Jamaican beats in Montego Bay. Find out more about Rastafarian Jamaica.
Feel your heart race
For adrenaline junkies, swinging through the jungle on a canopy tour is the way to do it. Or if heights don’t appeal, why not rip through the countryside on a quad bike? We've got more tips for enjoying your holiday on our blog.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, Dunn’s River Falls is a major attraction. It’s not exactly empty, but the stunning cascades are worth braving the bustle for.

Airport guide
Before you set off, take a look at our guide to Jamaica's Sangster International Airport.

Local transport
Minibuses and taxis are the cheapest way of getting around Montego Bay. Route taxis travel set routes and are cheaper than tourist taxis, which are more flexible. We recommend you agree a price before you get into a taxi.
Local currency
The local currency in Montego Bay is the Jamaican Dollar. The US Dollar is also accepted, although mainly in tourist areas, not across the whole country.

Electricity
Jamaica has a voltage supply of 110-120 volts, the same as the US. The main plug socket types are North American grounded and non-grounded plugs, but these may require an adapter.
