Recently stayed here at the end of a tour in Africa, the previous nights we stayed in a luxury hotel in Botswana so bit of a let down in the size of the room. Recently stayed here at the end of a tour in Africa, the previous nights we stayed in a luxury hotel in Botswana so bit of a let down in the size of the room. Only reason for 4 stars The room itself was clean and tidy. Was worried about the noise from the room as all our fellow travellers were overlooking the hotel pool. Must admit having good ear plugs didn't hear a thing. For some reason our Air con was constantly being switched off by the Domestics. Only 1 small bottle of water in the fridge a day which was a pain but we managed. The bed was comfortable The staff were exceptional especially Portia in the bar, what a lady, she had an amazing sense of humour and very attentive. We really wish her well in her future. Zko (not sure of the spelling - waiter in the restaurant) what a lovely guy, couldn't do enough for you at Breakfast. It was a shame we were advised not to go walking around the hotel area due to safety issues but the shuttle bus to the V&A Waterfront was a bonus. On the whole I would stay at the hotel again. Bad service at front desk (recepcion), there is no indoor pool and ammenities, and the gym is extremely small! O hot a problem with my reservation and after 3-4 hours waitung, they found my booking! The beds are small too, thia is not compatible to a 4 stars room!

Our room was clean with lovely views and you could see the Big Wheel from the room. We also enjoyed the free shuttle service to and from V&A Waterfront. We enjoyed our breakfast, although there was not a great variety of food as one would expect from a 4 star Hotel. The other inconvenience is having no access from inside the Hotel to the parking, you need to leave the Hotel and walk around to a lift to get to the parking. Also no play area or activities for kids as it's school holidays. Overall experience was good. Read less

Over priced, noisy air conditioning unit, bathroom light faulty, breakfast below average. Pastries stale and chewy, bacon not crispy. On a positive note beds clean and comfortable. Conveniently positioned to CICC and wonderful, prompt shuttle service to take guests to the waterfront. Friendly staff
