We stayed in a large 2 bedroom apartment in Ellesmere which was very nice with everything you need including dish washer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Reception is a bit away from the apartments and you are taken by car to your apartment when you arrive so it is hard to get your bearings. A short walk to the waterfront area and lovely to sit…

Reception is a bit away from the apartments and you are taken by car to your apartment when you arrive so it is hard to get your bearings. A short walk to the waterfront area and lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the boats/kayaks go by. Reception were very helpful when we had an issue with a tour we had booked. Would stay here again.

its my 2nd stay at the Waterfront Village and I can’t fault it for anything. Security, Location, Comfort, amenities, service, staff, assistance and support - everything is way beyond expectation and truly a bar set high.

We stayed in the luxury double apartments which were excellent with two large double bedrooms a huge kitchen. A large main room and balconies with view over the canal and the Waterfront area and views of Table Mountain at the back. Great location with a 10 min walk to the V & A Waterfront area. We were very comfortable. However this complex is massive and is geared up to long term residents and not holiday makers/visitors to CT. They really need to offer a welcome pack with maps of the complex. 5 swimming pools where were they? How do you get back to reception. Paddle Boards for hire? Where from? Where are the food shops to facilitate using the kitchen ( a 20 minute walk by the way). Better information about how taxis get in to the complex to pick you up. Even the wonderful little cafe by the gym wasn't really very well advertised and took us two days to find. (not gym users!!). As reviews have mentioned reception are not exactly welcoming or helpful generally and on another note our lift to our room took 25 minutes to come after we came back at 3.00pm as we were told to as we arrived off the plane at 12.30. Overall though we enjoyed our stay here.
Tips. Gigi Roof Top bar a 10 minute Uber away. Excellent atmosphere and food. The bar/restaurant at Cape Grace as you walk in to or back from the Waterfront is excellent and very friendly. Sevruga Restaurant is also very good. Enjoy
