“Good stay”

Enjoyable stay in city centre. It is more of a business hotel with various tall groups stopping, so it does get busy. Staff are very friendly. Room is quite small but adequate.. All necessary facilities provided-Hotel, kettle, fridge. We were on the 14th floor and were overlooking the unfinished road and football stadium. Excellent breakfast. There is a shuttle bus which takes guests to the waterfront. It leaves on the our every hour and returns on the half hour. It is very reliable and punctual.

Basic accommodation near the waterfront. Great for workers but not so great for tourists. The reason I say this is that the rooms are tiny and with a couple sharing a room with 2 suitcases, there is no space in the room. Breakfast is good, double beds are only 5ft wide so very small. Bathroom is dated and a very small shower. Pool area is tiny with sunshine for only 2 to 3 hrs per day. We wouldn't recommend for tourists as there are better options out there.

The rooms are not big nor interesting. You can't get a king size bed without an executive upgrade. The room with the king size bed is minimally larger than regular rooms. There are inadequate charging outlets in the room with only one single outlet on one side of the bed that surprisingly does not take the M type plug( typical in Capetown) but takes the European charger. You can only plug in chargers on one side. Bring a wall outlet multiplier. There were no outlets in the bathroom. There were small flies in our bathroom which we brought to the front desk's attention. Nothing was done. The concierge and the porters were great. Breakfast was nice.
