From the moment we arrived at the gates the magic and service started. The game reserve is vast, far large than I expected and with the different habitats, means you don't know what you're going to see and when makes every spot of an animal, exciting and different. We saw so much on day one, we had a brief worry that the rest of the week would be the same; but it wasn't each day different and exciting. Our lodge overlooking the watering hole was exceptional, warm inviting and some lovely treats waiting for us. The main lodge, was wonderful, sitting around the fire with a glass of wine before dinner was a great way to talk about the day. The food was different everyday, and certainly fine dining with great and very friendly service. Nothing is to much trouble at Pumba, I would recommend it to anyone who wants great service, fantastic animals. I would also recommend the walking safari, which was very interesting and also a trip to Seven Fountains village, which is very humbling. Read less

We stayed in a stunningly decorated, spacious room complete with a cozy fireplace, air conditioning, and even a heater in the bathroom — every comfort thoughtfully provided. We were welcomed with a variety of snacks, drinks, and a well-stocked bar fridge that made us feel genuinely spoilt. We celebrated a birthday during our stay, and upon returning from an incredible game viewing trip, we were surprised with a bottle of sparkling wine, strawberries, and chocolates — such a thoughtful and special touch! To top it off, warm water bottles had been placed on each side of the bed for us. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, with every meal beautifully prepared and presented. If you’re in need of a proper spoil and some real pampering, don’t hesitate to book at Pumba’s — it’s a special experience from start to finish. Read less

The game viewing was exceptional; we were lucky enough to spot a wide range of animals including elephants, giraffes, white lions, etc. , all in their natural habitat and often just a few metres away! Our guide, Msi, made the day even more memorable. His knowledge of the animals, the terrain, and the conservation efforts at Pumba was truly impressive. He had a great sense of humour and an instinct for knowing just where to go to get the best sightings – his passion and respect for the wildlife was inspiring. The included lunch was another highlight – delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed in a stunning setting . It added a touch of luxury to the adventure. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Pumba offers a world-class safari experience in just a day – thanks again to the amazing team, especially Msi, for making it so special! Read less
