The Bakubung bush lodge provides an excellent family experience. We have end June - beginning July time share there and have been visiting since 2011.

Very enjoyable. The roads to the lodge go through a run down area. The lodge is perfect, including the roads. The roads inside Pilansberg leave much to be desired. (North West Parks Board)

It was my first time at this lodge. I am not sure what I am expected to say under this heading but overall, I had a good weekend although the weather was not that much favourable due to winter. Not that much comfort due to weather but one can imagine how nice the conditions can be during summertime.

Affordable, relaxing, all in one safari lodge. Two game drives per day, meals included, option for treatments at the spa. Room was lovely and spacious with nice view. Watch out for the monkeys! Highly recommended and bring serious cold weather gear for the six AM winter game drives!

The room that we stayed in (104) was tiny, the animals few an far between, the game drives were on the single tarred road potholed worse than any in Joburg, there was no game ranger in the vehicle, a simple cooldrink or water was three times the price in a city, but the restaurant food was really really nice.
