“nasty rooms, bad support & service.”

NASTY ROOMS! I booked a room here for a few nights (over the holiday weekend) so that my girlfriend and I could enjoy our first trip away together. Neither of us have been to Banff before so I went all out with our stay; hardly sparing any expense only to find that the room wasn’t cleaned properly. I went to grab the hair dryer and was met with a previous guests used underwear and socks!! I went down to inform about it to the front desk about the situation and all they offered was a pie or a bottle of cheap $11 sawmill creek wine from the Keg (yes i found the same bottle in store after)… Really?? That's all that was offered to me? I spend over 1000$ on a room and they can’t even ensure that the room is cleaned properly? Absolutely unacceptable! On top of that, it took them over 2 hours for them to come and remove the items from our room and when they delivered the wine to us, the wine glasses they gave us were not clean. I’d expect this if we were staying at a cheap motel NOT a fancy resort hotel. Will not be staying here again, totally ruined the trip, i advise you to go anywhere else as the front desk staff are totally unsympathetic. SCAM ARTISTS!

Terrible motel. There are 2 star hostels in Thailand that are infinitely better than this sorry excuse for a lodging. Rooms are cold, beds are hard, pillows are terrible, can not sleep in these rooms at all, very noisy constantly it will drive you up the wall. Customer service also terrible, hot tub is trash. The whole place is garbage just stay away or get a refund of you can.

“Warm and welcoming”

We had a great stay at the Caribou Lodge. A warm welcome in a traditional style ski lodge with generous lobby space. The room was good for us, clean and comfortable. The free bus tickets covering 3 days were absolutely great, the local buses take you all round the Banff area with great ease - and having seen the parking issues at various spots, that was a real bonus, a joy to leave the car in the underground parking at the Caribou during our stay. We ate and had a drink in the in-house bar and restaurant a couple of times, all good. Reception staff were very helpful, answering questions with a smile.
