In the heart of downtown Banff, has a limited garage, which was nice to be able to park and leave it. Rustic wood appointments rather lovely. The space was large with nice amenities. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of blankets and pillows , all beautiful. The breakfast offerings plentiful. Staff very nice.

Lodge style hotel in the middle of Banff. We stayed in a spacious room with two queen beds, jetted tub ( which we didn’t use), comfortable beds with Pendleton wool spreads, 55” tv, couch, table with chairs, good sized fridge. Breakfast buffet is included - basic, with cereals and oatmeal, toast and bagels, some warm food, fresh fruit, juices and… Read more

Breakfast buffet is included - basic, with cereals and oatmeal, toast and bagels, some warm food, fresh fruit, juices and coffee. The staff is very helpful. We had a couple issues with the room which they resolved right away. The hotel is kind of a maze but comfortable and cozy. It is on the corner of Caribou and Bear, one short block off Banff Avenue, the main shopping street. There are at least 20 restaurants, bistros, breweries, bakeries, take-out and coffee and tea places within a few steps in all directions, as well as several art galleries. 2 blocks from the Bow River and easy walking distance to several walking and hiking trails. Good value in the off-season (early May). Read less

The Brewster was the ideal choice for our recent ski holiday. Centrally located with good comfortable rooms, excellent complimentary breakfast, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Handsdown, this would be one of the best properties that Ban FF has to offer. Handsdown, this would be one of the best properties that Ban FF has to offer. Right from its location directly in the centre of the town to its cozy interiors of the reception and the rooms, one can’t help, but feel being transported to a slightly older era where in all houses were made of logs (but of course with all the comforts and the amenities of today) with the balcony opening up directly on Bass Avenue and Beri Street views are uninterrupted. The front desktop is extremely helpful, polite, and courteous, and were a great help in suggesting local tours and hikes that as a solo traveller, I would be interested in taking. Being in the town centre, you just can’t get tired for travelling around its streets and popping in at various stores, even if it is just to browse around. For foodies, this location couldn’t get better .Every possible cuisine is available at a stone’s throw… For popcorn lovers , would recommend Marys’. There is a varied choice of cuisine - Vietnamese , Korean . Thai . Japanese, Turkish , steaks as well as Indian ! Read less

Location, location, location! The main draw of this hotel is its location right in the center of town. You’re a couple of minutes walk from most places. There is private underground parking (extra fee) which is totally worth it. The hotel has a rustic cute feel, the bed is comfortable and the front desk staff are wonderful and helpful. There is private underground parking (extra fee) which is totally worth it. The hotel has a rustic cute feel, the bed is comfortable and the front desk staff are wonderful and helpful. My main negative points are that I feel like it’s overpriced in that it’s more like a nice motel. The breakfast is in a room in the parking garage and is continental style. Some shops back onto the lobby with glass making it not feel like a private lobby. Overall I recommend this place due to its location and helpful friendly staff. Read less
