“Room is a letdown.”

This hotel has had a major refurbishment a couple of years ago. The lobby is lovely. Lifts great. But it stops there. Our room was not tidy. Stale pepperoni, sweets and wrappers on floor. We did complain at time and were given a free breakfast. However, the bathroom was a major let down. Towel rail hanging off wall. Old taps loose, grouting in need of refreshing and at side of toilet very grotty. Hairdryer just one of those little travel like ones. No luggage rack, plug for bath or iron, requested but never delivered. Very few sockets and in weird places. Like not one near a mirror! Staff were lovely and helpful thought.

Superb hotel on a great location. The team can’t do enough for you. The check in robot was fun. The room had 2 double beds that were both on the small side for two.

Our stay at the Chelsea Hotel was wonderful! We were here in December 2024 and decided to come back for another visit in September 2025. Our room (suite) was roomy, clean and the air conditioner was working well...nice and cool after a very warm Toronto day! Bed was super comfortable and bathroom was spotless. We arrived later in the evening and the desk staff, along with the night manager (Darish?) was welcoming, friendly and offered exceptional customer service. We will be back in the winter for another visit to the Chelsea!
