“Great view. "Premier Luxury Hotel", NOT.”

We had an excellent view of the Falls from one of their best suites on the top floor ($1090), although be advised that in winter the Falls is frequently obscured by fog and mist generated by the river. However this is not the luxury hotel it claims to be. Decor was more akin to Motel 6; sub-standard flooring and carpets, white slab plastic counter tops; insufficient lighting, plastic glasses??, etc. This is not the fault of the management of this property, but rather all too typical of the Marriott corporation itself being run by the new generation, far removed from what the founders created, attested to by voluminous similar reports on social media, where guests are not getting what they were lead to believe they were getting, and have sworn off Marriott altogether. Sadly, we join them.

Eh. Popcorn ceilings, 1990s decor. Clean and if you get Falls view 4th floor or above nice. Otherwise its a truck stop. They prey on tve the tourist. I guess its why they charge what the charge for an old unupdated space.

I haven’t stayed at the other hotels nearby, though I can’t imagine their views are any better than from here. The service was decent and the room was nice but it’s all about the view for me, and this Marriott has an amazing sweeping view across the falls.
