The location was great although the only way to the Canadian falls from here, if walking, is a long walk to Victoria park and back down towards the falls or an expensive $15 round trip ticket on the incline. The rooms are a little dated and not equipped for modern device charging. Prices in the restaurant and Starbucks are typically overpriced ($5 black coffee compared to Starbucks 2 miles from the hotel at $2.50) The Concierge lounge maybe the worst I have ever encountered. No breakfast served and it is very small and offers no view. The snack offering at night is very limited. Exercise room is ok but the equipment needs replacing. If your an elite Bonvoy member do not stay here. I was there with my wife and 10 year old special needs child. They refused to allow my child a free breakfast, even though she would only eat a bowl of cereal. I chose not to eat so my wife and child could have breakfast. I have stayed at properties all over North America and never had an issue with my child eating breakfast for free. If self parking, it is $45 a night and you have to park 1/4 mile away from the hotel in a lot that is not protected. Read less

Great location but tired rooms and generally run down hotel! This hotel was billed to be the better of the two Marriott properties located close to the falls, which for our last night on our special 30th Wedding anniversary US/Canada tour, was why I picked it. From a view perspective, this hype is true if you get the right room. However, I cannot recommend it to anyone wanting to stay there! The Niagara Fallsview hotel and spa, was ending our two week break which had included staying in Marriott establishments in San Diego, Maui (Hawaii), Las Vegas and Toronto (all fabulous). We were upgraded to an Executive Fallsview room suite, however this definitely did not live up to expectation other than for the view! Here are the reasons why....... Tired decor in the rooms Furniture in the room damaged Too much furniture in the room which does not fit, making the room feel cluttered Small bathroom with no independent shower, for a suite this is poor Mattress not fitting bed frame Screws exposed on the bed frame…dangerous No safe in the room. This surely is a must for security of expesive and important documents!! Broken headboard No complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Squeaky bathroom door, great for waking up the family in the night! Two TV’s, one which did not work and the one that did with no streaming service (minor point, but come on, in this day and age we expect this) Very poor hotel swimming pool with dirty floors, minimal changing facilities, and disgusting toilets. The exec/concierge lounge area was more like a very small school cafeteria, with clearly no time, effort or thought to it. I could not quite believe it when we went down for breakfast the following morning. Having been used to a full free breakfast in every other Marriott property I’ve stayed in due to being a titainium member; to be told we could only have cold items from the buffet was absolutely ridiculous!! What sort of hotel are Marriott running here, where loyal elite members are restricted in what they can have for breakfast depending on its temperature, especially when they are side by side at the buffet! This needs to change immediately, as I heard other guests talking about how bad this was. Note: With regards to breakfast, I will just mention the flies hanging around on the food as well, again, just a poor lack of detail in keeping things fresh. I stay at Marriott hotels every week and unfortunately this will not be one I will be returning to or can recommend at this point. At over £300 per night, this hotel is relying dangerously on its location and not the quality of its facilities. Marriott need to do something about this, as customers will be soon leaving to go to the nearby Hilton or Sheraton hotels who also boast falls views. I expected better from this property. It did unfortunately spoil the last part of our trip, which has annoyed me. Finishing on a positive, staff were friendly and professional but lacked that flexibility to make customers, like ourselves, feel special. I spoke to the manager of the hotel, plus sent Marriott this review in the hope they will rectify these things for others wanting to stay there. Read less

Shower large but had to request shower chair. Location and view of falls was great but room was disappointment. Long elevator waits on weekend. One time waited through 7 elevators before I could get in one. Staff was nice especially Molly at front desk and Lisa at Morton’s. Doubt we will return until accessibility addressed. Read less

The hotel is in a great location near the falls and the attractions. We booked a junior fallsview suite, but when we arrived the photos and reality don't match. The room was dark and dated. The view of the falls is obstructed but splits in the window, so to see the falls you either have to stand up or sit on the floor. Our room was in the corner and so our view was semi-obstructed (which wasn't included in the listing). On top of all of this, we had gnats in our room and when we contacted front desk we were told because the hotel was sold out we could not change rooms. When you go to connect to wifi, it reads there is a $15.95 (ca) charge per night even though the wifi is technically free, which was confusing. The in-lobby store closes at 10:00pm, and after that there is nowhere to get a cold drink, etc except a vending machine on alternate floors. For the cost of the "upgraded" room, we were very disappointed. Read less
