“July 2025 family trip”

2 nights in Niagara in July 2025. I accidentally booked the wrong dates on my online booking and missed the arrival date. Without going to too much detail I want to say that the hotel was very honorable to find me an acceptable solution for my visit. This is the last hotel in a line of hotels and quite close to the incline railway, the casino food court and close to the wego bus stop. Some of the nearby restaurants are quite expensive to be honest. But breakfast in the hotel was very comfortable and well presented. Small pool unfortunately and it's dark without out side light Very pleasant room maybe slightly dated. But comfortable beds and great views of horse shoe falls on Canadian side. Staff in general helpful and willing to serve. Thank you to the young hotel manager AJ who no doubt inspires his team. Convinient parking in the hotel.

“Wow what an amazing place”

This was part of a 2 week trip and I have to say it topped everything off We did struggle to understand the lady at the check in desk but we managed to get by!! The restaurant is out of this world The view was second to none I feel quite humbled to say I have stayed here

“Disappointing Check-in Experience at Marriott Bonvoy”

I am a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member and had booked a Junior Presidential Suite several months in advance. I arrived at 3:00 PM, which was my designated check-in time, only to be told that my room was not ready. When I asked how long it would take, I was told they were unsure and would call me once it was prepared. After waiting for about an hour, by 4:00 PM, I hadn’t received any call, so I went back to the front desk. I was told the room was still not ready. I checked again at 4:30 PM, only to receive the same response. By 5:00 PM, having waited for two hours, I expressed my frustration, stating that enough was enough. At this point, they offered me an upgrade for breakfast, which I declined, stating that I simply wanted my room. Shortly after, I overheard the front desk staff communicating with the housekeeping team, and they assured me that they would rush to prepare the room. Finally, around 5:15 or 5:20 PM, I was able to check in and enter the room. The room itself was as expected, but to my further disappointment, there was no conditioner in the bathroom. This only added to my frustration. This experience was far below the standards I’ve come to expect from Marriott, especially as a loyal Platinum Elite member. I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve their service and customer experience.
