Ready to party in Downtown Vancouver? This is your ideal base to do so, not just for it’s location, but for the hotel itself too! The standard rooms here are pretty compact, but if you’re just looking for somewhere to rest your head after a night out then you won’t be disappointed. Of course, if you want that bit more space to relax, you can opt for a Superior Room or even a Junior Suite (which is perfect for a group of friends to share together!). Start your evening in the Living Room where you’ll be greeted by happy hour, hearty food options and live TV’s – there’s always a reason to end up here. And then when it’s time to up the vibe, head downstairs to the basement. A basement that you wish you had at home, here you can grab a drink, boogie on the dancefloor, or even roll a game of skeeball (that could be interesting after happy hour ey!). Whilst the hotel has everything ready for the perfect party, you’re also within touching distance of many other eclectic bars and restaurants – so no two nights need to be the same. The hotel staff have some great insider knowledge that you can tap into – whatever kind of place you’re looking for. Come day time, you’re just a stroll away from BC place where you can catch the BC Lions or Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Or take a wander through the famous Stanley Park to get some fresh air after your night on the town.

“Extra effort and consideration appreciated”

For my first stay at this Fairmont, I arrived after a long day of travelling to find the hotel quite full and not what I expected. To my shock, my room did not have a chair or desk and I had a speech to write and other work deadlines to meet for the next morning. I explained that I can’t write and type working from bed because of my back. I started searching for other hotels but by the time I returned to the front desk to arrange a move, Hitesh was ahead of me and offered me a room with a desk. He took me to see it - it was perfect for my needs - and within half an hour I was at work and greatly appreciated his consideration- especially because I know he was very busy helping other guests arriving and the hotel had few rooms left at that point.
“Quirky and Fun Vibe”

The Room: The room was nice, clean, fun vibe. It’s big enough to move around. A little dimly lit. BYO hairdryer, they do have one but it has no power.
Restaurant: We only ate the breakfast and it was ok. Nothing special. I wouldn’t recommend it. The restaurant was a little shabby, it could to with a make over. Loved the quirky and unique decor!!
The Staff: Very helpful and friendly, always smiling. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and they left some wine, chocolates and a lovely personised card in our room.
Lobby: cozy, comfortable and cute.
Location: It’s easy to get anywhere from this hotel. If you want to go to a nice restaurant or lovely area don’t turn left. Turn right, in two blocks you will be in Yaletown. You will need to turn left to get to some other places but if you can help it don’t walk down Granville Street. It’s gross.
All in all great place.
