The hotel

Ready to party in Downtown Vancouver? This is your ideal base to do so, not just for it’s location, but for the hotel itself too! The standard rooms here are pretty compact, but if you’re just looking for somewhere to rest your head after a night out then you won’t be disappointed. Of course, if you want that bit more space to relax, you can opt for a Superior Room or even a Junior Suite (which is perfect for a group of friends to share together!). Start your evening in the Living Room where you’ll be greeted by happy hour, hearty food options and live TV’s – there’s always a reason to end up here. And then when it’s time to up the vibe, head downstairs to the basement. A basement that you wish you had at home, here you can grab a drink, boogie on the dancefloor, or even roll a game of skeeball (that could be interesting after happy hour ey!). Whilst the hotel has everything ready for the perfect party, you’re also within touching distance of many other eclectic bars and restaurants – so no two nights need to be the same. The hotel staff have some great insider knowledge that you can tap into – whatever kind of place you’re looking for. Come day time, you’re just a stroll away from BC place where you can catch the BC Lions or Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Or take a wander through the famous Stanley Park to get some fresh air after your night on the town.

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel is well placed and the rooms are good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The air con is very noisy and you can hear the low rumble of other people’s most of the night. There is a car park for the hotel for an extra charge.

Avoid at all costs!! Not only was our room under noisy rooftop machinery that reached 57dbs at times which the management said we could be downgraded to a lower room on a lower floor but this hotel then cancelled the type of booking we had that was eligible for points / nights when we partially paid around 30% in points. No other Accor hotel has… Read more

No other Accor hotel has ever done this to us before. Hotel is also at the drug addicts end of town, hotel presents itself as trendy but the area it is in is a dive. Read less

Good selection of drinks to have via using electric kettle or coffee maker: Beds large and very comfortable. We paid to have a breakfast as an extra our first morning. It was buffet style and plentiful. Omelette’s made on request. 2nd morning we had breakfast at the Flamingo cafe opposite. Good value and tasty. Read less

I travelled solo to attend a show at The Pearl. I was greeted by Erica upon arrival, who was super friendly. I was told I'd been upgraded to a larger deluxe room, was given a little welcome bag with some snacks and a coupon for a complimentary happy hour drink at the adjoining bar. I had jokingly asked if the extras were because it was my birthday (which it was that day). Shortly after getting up to my room, a staff member delivered a hand-written birthday card and some complimentary drinks. That was such a nice unexpected surprise. I was very happy with the room. The bed/pillows were comfortable and it has some nice decorative finishes. I had some street noise but that was to be expected since it's right downtown. I realized most of the noise came through the bathroom window so I just shut the bathroom door at night and had no issues sleeping. The location was perfect. I walked to and from my show. It's a fairly bustling area so I didn't feel unsafe at all walking alone. It was a very short walk to the train station as well. I wish I'd figured out the train on the way in. My uber was around $33 from the airport and I took the Canada Line train back for under $5. It was probably quicker too since you don't get stuck in traffic. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in downtown Vancouver. Read less
