Ready to party in Downtown Vancouver? This is your ideal base to do so, not just for it’s location, but for the hotel itself too! The standard rooms here are pretty compact, but if you’re just looking for somewhere to rest your head after a night out then you won’t be disappointed. Of course, if you want that bit more space to relax, you can opt for a Superior Room or even a Junior Suite (which is perfect for a group of friends to share together!). Start your evening in the Living Room where you’ll be greeted by happy hour, hearty food options and live TV’s – there’s always a reason to end up here. And then when it’s time to up the vibe, head downstairs to the basement. A basement that you wish you had at home, here you can grab a drink, boogie on the dancefloor, or even roll a game of skeeball (that could be interesting after happy hour ey!). Whilst the hotel has everything ready for the perfect party, you’re also within touching distance of many other eclectic bars and restaurants – so no two nights need to be the same. The hotel staff have some great insider knowledge that you can tap into – whatever kind of place you’re looking for. Come day time, you’re just a stroll away from BC place where you can catch the BC Lions or Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Or take a wander through the famous Stanley Park to get some fresh air after your night on the town.

“Exceptional Stay at Hotel Belmont”

Absolutely fantastic little hotel in downtown Vancouver!
The front reception was incredibly kind and helpful ( Takaaki ) as well as the help from Arjun, who even helped me with all my luggage up to my room! They hand delivered my skip the dishes to my room as well.
The mint shampoo and conditioner was most refreshing for my early morning start! ☺️
The rooms were very clean and the atmosphere was cozy!

Yes. The staff Vikram was excellent. He accommodated and welcomed us. Gave complimentary drinks. For sure, we will be back in this hotel.

We were due to stay for one week at the Hotel Belmont on Jan 26th, however due to a historic snowstorm in Toronto the evening of Jan 26th, our flight was delayed and were only able to check in on Jan 27th. We informed the hotel of the delay as soon as we found out at the airport. The response we received was standard corporate speak that cancellations before 6pm the day before are subject to penalty.
We explained that this was a “force majeure” and that it was our intention to check in on time. We even showed the initial flight boarding pass and the delayed flight boarding pass, but they didn’t care and insisted on charging us "late cancellation fees" despite the fact that the hotel was clearly half empty when we arrived.
We truly can’t stress how chaotic the situation was at Toronto Airport that night (it was all over the news!). And yet the receptionist upon arrival expressed surprise, and mentioned that they never have such delays with their Ontario clients. We ended up checking out three days early due to the staff and management blasé attitude to the whole ordeal.
We strongly recommend avoiding the Belmont if you are looking for an establishment with respectful and responsive customer service.
