“Great customer service”

We stayed here as my son was to have surgery at St. Paul’s hospital, so we booked 2 nights. We stayed one night and at 2 the next day his surgery was cancelled. We talked to the front desk lady, can’t remember her name, but she was there Nov 15, and explained what happened and she let us check out and didn’t charge us for that night. This was great customer service as we were already a bit upset. The hotel was really clean and comfortable, there is construction outside but it didn’t bother us. Breakfast was great and lots of variety.

Location is great for both touring Vancouver or for business in the central business area. Close to great restaurants in Yaletown and a short walk to Robson and Burrard area. There is a busy popular bakery on the corner for pastries, coffees, breads, etc. Also walkable to the waterfront areas and not too far from Yaletown Skytrain. Parking available. The hotel is well maintained and there is a pool and fitness centre. Breakfast buffet included. Our room was clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchenette. WiFi was very good. Despite being in a busy downtown area our room was quiet at night. Bathroom was small (no tub) but towels were good quality and there was lots of hot water. Plenty of power plugs around the room. Desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Not a luxury hotel but very comfortable for a weekend or longer term stay. I would definitely stay here again.

This is now my favorite place to stay in Vancouver. It is better than any other residences, hotels or Airbnb's I've experienced in the dozens of visits to Vancouver over the past 17 years since I first visited this lovely city. It met all my criteria: great location in downtown accessible to great restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and even groceries. Since it was a residence, it allowed my to cook and heat up food. It had a good fitness center. And its breakfast buffet was fairly decent with a wide range of options. Finally the staff were friendly and accommodating and responsive to all our needs. Kudos to them.
