Overall, I thought the value for money was ridiculous. With parking and taxes, we paid just under $1500 for 2 weekend nights. The hotel doesn’t even offer daily housekeeping service if you’re charging that type of money, you should be offering daily service for housekeeping we didn’t even get a change of towels and when we asked for towels, we… Read more

The hotel doesn’t even offer daily housekeeping service if you’re charging that type of money, you should be offering daily service for housekeeping we didn’t even get a change of towels and when we asked for towels, we didn’t get all of the towels requested because they didn’t have enough, which seems pretty ridiculous for a hotel. Eventually, we got the other towels requested, but it was after we had already showered. I only book this place because it was very hard to find something downtown. I would recommend if you’re staying in downtown Vancouver book ahead as fast as possible so you don’t get stuck overpaying for a place like this. Read less

We stayed here for a total of three nights and enjoyed our first visit to Vancouver. The centralized location made it easy for our tour vans to pick us up and drop us off. Plus, there were a whole bunch of nice restaurants at walking distance from here. Our room on the 17th floor was high enough to drown out the traffic sounds and get spectacular views of the sunsets behind the mountains right from our balcony. The room itself was a good sized one with a full kitchen with large refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher and a stove. Not that we cooked, but it was nice to have the space – one reason why we always book the Residence Inn brand whenever possible. In today’s times, housekeeping is only on alternate days, but they did leave enough towels for the two of us for two days. Breakfast was on a dedicated 2nd floor – we LOVED that. There was lots of room to move around without bumping into people, and they had plenty of tables in several rooms. The Staff kept everything moving seamlessly from cleaning the tables to replenishing food, coffee and juices. Our stay here had no complaints, and we will have no hesitation in staying here again on our next trip to Canada Read less

A hotel with a great location.... as functional as can be. Very central and close to various shopping and dinning options. Even though we came before check in time our room was ready and given without any fuss. Housekeeping is limited, and so is breakfast. Otherwise a great option to stay in Vancouver.
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Bad attitude by Simon at from desk.

Jul 10, 2025 845KR London, United Kingdom

Simon at front desk is grumpy and should not be customer facing. His attitude is far from acceptable and seems not interested in being anyway customer focused. How can a hotel have such a bad reception staff. It makes every other experience at this hotel tainted by such poor and grumpy service.

Each day had hot options aswell; always 1 breakfast meat, scrambled eggs, and a side like French toast or hash browns. Oatmeal station, waffle station, Greek yogurt parfaits, and fruit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband used the gym, said it had enough for him to get by but there was young kids playing around in there which wasn’t ideal. We didn’t use the pool at all during our stay because there were so many kids we decided to avoid. Only cons I really had was 1. Lighting in the room wasn’t great ( minimal depending on what your needs are) 2. The complimentary wifi wasn’t great, laptop would freeze or loose connection periodically. I’ve been to Mexico resorts with better wifi connection Read less
