I have stayed at this property 4 or 5 times over the past 15 years. The building refresh completed in the past year was terrific. The addition of the coffee area in the lobby was a great call. We loved it. Check in was great, valet and bell team was super friendly. Loved the room. Because I had stayed before, I knew the layout but for a first time guest, finding things like the ski valet or the pool could use a few more signs. LOVE the new layout of the restaurant/ bar area. Really nice. Read less

The Hilton is a few steps from the whistler gondola (pro tip- skip the line and take the lift instead of the gondola). We were able to book on points and the rooms were less here than other similarly situated properties, which is how we ended up here. But, we enjoyed it and would come back! We've stayed in this part of the village twice now and it's just bustling. The bar here is busy and noisy. You can expect to wait in long lines to check in and deal with the valet. Better to self-park although the price difference is only about $4. EV's note that they only have one functioning charger in the self-park area. If you need to charge, better to valet and it's still first come first-served but we were able to charge that way at least. It took forever to get our car out of valet so we self-parked the second day but that was also a hassle. I will say, we much preferred the Hilton to the Crystal Lodge and overall found our room to be quiet and comfy. There is a nice little kitchenette set-up that I don't think we knew about when we booked. Love being able to stock some of my own food. The ski valet is literally about 5 steps from the door to the gondola line. The hot tub is spacious and outdoor. The room is a standard hotel room but was fine. Rooms were decently quiet. Would stay here again. Especially if I could pay with points. Read less

One the delights about visiting Whistler (& Canada) is the service ethic. I live in the UK, and even in 2025 service in the UK is a bit like broadband in the countryside - patchy verging on poor. Anyway at the Hilton lobby coffee stand I ordered two coffees and a croissant. The coffees took 5 minutes to arrive. They were not busy at all. I had to remind the server that I had paid for a pastry, as she had forgotten. Also to warm it, again, as she had forgotten. As an aside the pastry was a crescent shaped mess of dough. I will simply not go there again. I appreciate this is a small matter, but at that time it was important. I am trying to resist drawing conclusions but the servers were Brits! Read less

We were assigned Room 225 - above the hotel entrance and the designated smoking section. Cigarette smoke was wafting into the room on a somewhat regular basis. Hotel was booked so we couldn't change rooms. Forget about leaving the window open for some fresh air. Hey, Hotel Manager, move that smoking bench somewhere else! Rooms were a bit tired and in need of a refresh. Bed was comfortable and the linens were fine. Kitchenette is handy, indeed, but could have more cookware, bigger glasses and mugs and some dish towels . It was convenient having a washer/dryer around the corner near a vending machine that has detergent. Front desk makes change for the Canadian coins needed to operate. The gym was decent but they could use a few foam rollers given all of the activities that most guests partake in. Also, a few decent yoga mats (they had small foam mats that have probably been there for over 10 years). Nice peloton but not usable because the seat was broken. I reported it on day one (4 times total) but it still wasn't fixed by day 5. Decent pool, sauna, outdoor and indoor hot tubs. Spa onsite gives great restorative massages. Common areas are completely fine and seem updated. Good apres ski scene at their Cinnamon Bear bar. The hotel made a mistake and attached someone else's tab to our bill. Finally realized the mistake after spending 20 minutes on the phone with them. Check your final statement! Great to be within a very short walk to lifts and gondolas. Ski valet at the end of the day was nice. Friendly staff everywhere. Read less

Great location but the rooms are tired and in desperate need of a refresh. We were assigned room 225, right above the entry to the hotel. Worse, they have a dedicated smoking section just outside the entrance under the window of many rooms, including ours. Not so nice to have the smell of cigarettes wafting up to the open windows of guests looking for a little fresh air. Even with the windows closed, you can still smell the cigarette smoke. Not good planning. It is inconsiderate to the guests above the smoking section. They also made a mistake adding someone else's bar bill to our final bill. Luckily they corrected it after a lengthy phone call where they checked the bills and acknowledged that the signatures were not the same on two tabs. It took a good 20 minutes to correct the mistake. The gym was fair. Nice peloton but not useable since the seat was broken. I reported it on day 1 and it was still not fixed by day 5 even though I reported it broken 4 times. Also, they could use more mats and some foam rollers! Somewhat surprising to be at a ski resort with a decent gym but no foam rollers. A small investment would make the space much better. Please pay attention, Hilton! Read less
