Nice, large room. Good AC which we definitely needed! Bathroom needs upgrade = do not want to climb into a tub any more. Very friendly, helpful staff. Both bar and restaurant let us down (see those reviews). Best thing was being next door to the Westin. If we had known it was so close, we would have stayed there.

Booked this hotel after looking at many in Whistler due to having a pool, being close to the main village and as it offered rooms with a kitchenette. Having been travelling for several weeks, we wanted somewhere to make a small breakfast and perhaps a light salad in the evening. We were originally given room 275 - a studio with a kitchen. This was probably the most illogically designed hotel room I have ever stayed in - the bathroom was huge compared to the rest do the room. The queen bed was very small (as commented by others) and the room was too small for all that was in it. The net result - a room with no space to move around, furniture crossing each other, no table or breakfast area to actually allow the kitchen to function and the TV sat at such an angle you could not watch it. We spoke with the concierge and then manager who kept telling us we had booked a cheaper room and that they didn’t design the room. They did attempt to resolve with an upgrade at a discounted cost but the hotel was fully booked so we had to make do with the room for at least the first two days. Looking at the fire evacuation maps - our room was certainly smaller than others of a similar design. We then learned our outlook was over the overspill area of the bar - on the second night of disrupted sleep due (partying went into the small hours) I again spoke to the concierge and the moved us to a much larger room in the North tower. The concierge effectively said to me that whilst there is a cut off for the bar, they wouldn’t enforce it due to a biking festival. It felt that other customers were less important than the biking group, many of whom were staying in the hotel and using the hotel for the volunteer base. Service was questionable - our room would often be serviced without refreshing the coffee/tea or milk. Small details matter and given the cost of the hotel, and that this was then added to with taxes, parking charges, etc I felt that the service did not live up to the Hilton brand standards. As just another example, The pool was cold, the jets did not work in the outdoor hot tub. Poor overall. Read less

Rooms themselves were good - we didn't use the kitchen for cooking but it was useful to have a large fridge and the ability to prepare sandwiches to take out for lunch. The only downside was the view - our rooms overlooked the service road - that was a bit disappointing as a hilton gold member. Breakfast was good - had the buffet and were able to use the gold f&b credit for 2 guests. Lots of choice. The staff were able to provide gluten free toast for my wife too. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Theu happliy sorted out a slightly later check out on one of the rooms. We also made use of the hotel complementary bike hire to explore a bit - that was a nice touch. We also used the gym and the pool - both of which were good. And it was useful to be able to use the washing and drying facilities to get some clothes cleaned mid holiday. The location was a positive - right in the heart of the village so close to the lifts and the restaurants etc. Parking in the basement was easy too. The only reason for the rating of 4 rather than 5 was the view from the room. Otherwise a really good stay. Read less

Jared had the long lost ability to practice empathy and provide some of the best customer service skills that I have ever, ever encountered in any of my long list of travels. The hotel itself was clean, cozy and centrally located to any and all things touristy including the superb pool and hot tub Kudos also go out to the F&B department for providing quality meals and drinks for all Hilton guests. Bottom line....A great place to stay at a good price with wonderful employees like Jared at your service make this THE place to stay in this awesome area of British Columbia. Read less

Our second time staying in the Glacier Suite here! As a gold member, I absolutely love and appreciate the daily food and beverage credits as it's super flexible and provides more freedom. (I have no desire to race down to the buffet for breakfast with a child and prefer room service). A huge thank you to the housekeeper, Satinderjit, as well. My daughter was supposed to meet me at the pool after the changing room, but she wandered back to the room we'd already checked out of instead. I was searching everywhere and, upon arriving to our hallway, Satinderjit told me that she's crying in the room and gave us some privacy while I calmed her down. Thank you so much for making a difficult situation better! 😊 We will be back this fall to fully appreciate the hot tub and outdoor fireplace! Read less
