The hotel

Located on the Northwest tip of Antigua, the Cove Suites are part of the Blue Waters resort, offering luxurious all-inclusive accommodation within easy reach of the hotel’s outstanding range of facilities. When you can drag yourself away from your idyllic surrounds, it’s time to explore what Blue Waters has to offer – a truly superb hotel, renowned for its high standards of service, and with activities galore – including an 18-hole golf course just 5 minutes away! Watersports are complimentary, so try your hand at windsurfing, kayaking, and snorkelling, or hop onboard a Hobie Cat and sail the high seas. Enjoy a peaceful dinner in one of two restaurants – one of which is located in the main hotel, Blue Waters – before enjoying live entertainment, which is offered most evenings. Afterwards, relax with a nightcap in the Pelican Bar until it’s time to return to your suite to retire in luxury. For something even more special, treat yourself to a stay in one of the Cove’s four exquisite Penthouse Suites, each beautifully appointed, with three bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.

Located in historic Soldiers Bay on two white sandy beaches at the northwest tip of the island. Transfer time from airport: 15 minutes.

24 Cove Suites and 4 Penthouses on 3 floors in 4 buildings. 

Cove Suites are located in an elevated position, a short walk from the beach and facilities of the main hotel. Each lavishly appointed suite comprises of a spacious, open-planned living area and bedroom, bathroom with free-standing baths and private balcony/terrace with spectacular sea views and exclusive access to four clifftop infinity-edge pools. Sleeps maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

All-Inclusive of: all meals, sundowner service including cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, some premium-brand drinks, house and sparkling wine and mini-bar items. All activities and entertainment above unless otherwise stated.

Please note: Cove Penthouse Suites are based on a breakfast included basis. All-Inclusive is available at a supplement.

Please note: the All Inclusive programme is available from 3:00pm on the day of arrival and until 12:00pm on the day of departure. If you want to dine outside of these times, you can do this and charge to your account.

Cove Penthouse Suites – accommodation features 3 separate bedrooms, 2 of which have enormous double balconies boasting panoramic views of the island. Facilities include a separate living room, kitchen and en-suite bathrooms, sleeping maximum 7 adults or 6 adults and 4 children. Please note: this room is on a breakfast included basis, all inclusive is available at a supplement.

3 restaurants, 2 of which can be found at the main hotel, Blue Waters: The Palm Restaurant (open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), The Cove Restaurant (dinner, open days vary seasonally), Carolyn's Beach Bar & Restaurant (open daily for lunch and throughout the day for a refreshing cocktail). 3 bars: Pelican cocktail bar and lounge, Carolyn's Beach Bar and Veronica's bar.

Daily activities and live evening entertainment most days. 

7 swimming pools (4 exclusively for Cove Suites guests), Jacuzzi, floodlit tennis court, spa with Elemis and ila treatments* (local charge for treatments), fitness centre, table tennis, pool table, yoga, aqua aerobics, water sports: windsurfing, sailing (daily group lessons), kayaks, Hobie Cats, pedalos and snorkelling equipment. Complimentary kids activity programme Monday-Friday (for ages 5-12). Access to a WhatsApp service for arranging excursions, spa treatments, and more*.

Dress code: Palm Restaurant and Pelican Bar - these facilities, being informal leisure areas, accept shorts (tailored) and other smart casual wear, including T-shirts. At The Cove Restaurant, elegant evening attire is requested. Shorts are not accepted (no T-shirts). Black tie is requested Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

Please note: this hotel may be unsuitable for guests with mobility restrictions as there are steps around the grounds and down to the beach.

Just arrived and wow! Karen at the Front Office was so kind and welcoming! Danete from housekeeping came in at the end of her shift to help split the beds, we had fun as she showed me the robes, of course I helped her! People on the island are very humble and super friendly. My week @BlueWaters and @ Antigua is off to a great start.

Our first time in Antigua & staying at Blue Waters Resort & Spa, was a fantastic choice we made. Arriving at V C Bird International Airport, it's a short 20 minute drive to the hotel. We were greeted by the charming Karen on reception, who checked us in & assisted with booking our dinner reservations. Our room was stunning, facing the beach & had the use of a beautiful infinity pool in our villa complex which we could use, as could a few other guests in our villa complex. There were several other pools available at the hotel which we, as well as all the other guests could also use. We had a lovely mini bar, which was restocked daily & our room was cleaned daily as well. Loved the personalized metal water bottles which were in our room & which we could fill up throughout the day/ night during our stay. A great initiative by the hotel to reduce plastic/glass usage. All the staff we interacted with were so polite & helpful & genuinely did everything they could to ensure your stay was perfect. A special mention to Karen on reception,Tario for hosting the rum tasting & Dehra at The Palm, who were exceptional throughout. From the delicious breakfast at The Palm, lunch at The Palm or The Reef or dinner at The Cove or the Palm or The Reef - the food choices were varied & delicious. The presentation of the food was first class at every restaurant we went to. The cocktails & other drinks were fantastic as well. The all-inclusive package is a great deal. We frequently visited the gym to burn off some calories & there were treadmills, weights, cross trainers & a rowing machine. You could even play tennis on the court next to the gym. The beach area is beautiful & there are sunbeds on the beach to laze on. A trampoline which you could swim out to, as well as sunbeds on a floating pontoon & a few circular floating rings were all available. Watersports were at the end of the beach to participate in. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation at a superb hotel in Antigua, look no further than Blue Waters Resort & Spa hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Read less

Having the pool at the cove suite was a big advantage as there was never a problem getting a bed next to the pool. If you couldn’t get a bed by the beach in the morning there were usually some in the afternoon as people had moved on. It never felt crowded. It was very relaxed and you have to remember you are on island time, when ordering drinks or food it often took a while to arrive but we had nowhere else to be so this didn’t matter. The kids club was amazing. My children have always refused to go to kids clubs anywhere they have been but Ainsley introduced herself my to daughter on our second evening and the next day she was desperate to go to kids club. Both my children spent a lot of time there, we even got two meals to ourselves when they had the movie nights. Ainsley and Abigail were so fantastic I can’t praise them enough. My son had a hobbie cat lesson which was $35 but he was out for over an hour and was then able to take them out with my husband, which was a fantastic experience. If we went again the one thing they didn’t seem to have were snacks. You could buy things from the Boutique at a very inflated price but we would definitely bring our own next time. When the restaurants were closed there was no other way of getting food, which when all inclusive was disappointing. We probably wouldn’t have noticed if we didn’t have children with us but they would often be hungry before dinner. We had an incredible family holiday and would come back in a heartbeat. Read less

There were many folks that cared for us throughout the week, but a few of the standouts were Jenima in housekeeping, Mikhael, and our beautiful concierge Nicole.
