The hotel

Everyday is paradise when you wake up with views of the ocean through the floor to ceiling windows at the Margaritaville Beach Resort in the Bahamas. With over 5,000 square miles of beaches, pools, and bars to explore, this is your ultimate destination within a destination. It’s perfect for families, with spacious suites to accommodate you all together, some even with full kitchens for those nights when you want to eat dinner alone on the balcony. The activities on offer are never ending, the water park being the pick of the bunch – and we know you’ll love the slides just as much as the little ones really! There’s also an entertainment centre to keep them occupied, with games, bowling and a movie theatre, so you can relax in the spa or grab a frozen margarita from the beachfront bar and watch the cruise ships coming in and out of Nassau. Make sure you grab a spot at the rooftop bar in time for the sunset, definitely an instagram-able moment.

I didn't stay at the hotel but had an incredible dinner at the Vacation Cafe restaurant. Ian was my top notch, friendly, professional server. And the Guava BBQ ribs. Omg. Best I've ever tasted. Seriously. Try the ribs. (Ok, Trip Adviser. Here's your 200 characters - sheesh. You're ruining a good vibe.)

Let me first say that I vacation frequently and visit the Bahamas 1-2 times per year. We love the island and enjoy the people here. Check-in was not great. Amon checked us in, explained nothing about the resort and did not even put our wrist bands on. He handed us the wristbands and told us the elevators were down the hall. No welcome drink or even water was offered. Service could have been better here as well. It was difficult to get help. Rooms are nicely decorated but our first room has damages. Our second room had two double beds which made sleeping uncomfortable. On a good note, the valet and bell men were very nice and helpful. There were also 2 female bartenders at the adult pool who were extremely helpful. The adult pool area is nice, and they have many amenities for families. Read less

Super relaxing a little pricey but overall worth it! It located in the center of town so there are plenty of food options nearby. The drinks are strong! Went to the restaurant in the hotel and the blackened chicken pasta and conch fritters were super tasty!

The service and food at Vacation Cafe was absolutely phenomenal! The shrimp was juicy and the lobster was so delectable, It was extremely enjoyable especially thanks to conversations with our waiter Ian. I said 12/10 at first but we’re at a definite 20/10

Magaritaville was great. Nice little water park and beach. Very relaxing and safe. I like that they checked people coming in and out etc. Spoke to some people who were stying in the hotel and they told me that liked it alot. The water park was nice and even had a few spots where you could be completly isolated. Also great places to take pictures. I loved this place and hope to go back one day soon. Read less
