All Inclusive option: is available at a supplement.

3 restaurants: Coco Patch (Caribbean style restaurant serving breakfast and lunch daily, as well as an international lunch buffet on Sunday's). Pacifika Restaurant (Pacific Rim cuisine, dinner. Open on Wednesdays). Accra Deck (oceanfront dining offering contemporary European cuisine). 3 bars: The Sand Bar Lounge, Sunset Bar (with Happy Hours) and the Lagoon Bar for poolside drinks and light snacks. The Accra Beach hotel had been a south coast fixture for years. I last stayed here 25 years ago and would have hoped for some upgrades in the interim. Sadly not. It’s tired and run down and so are the staff. We had to ask for our room to be made up at 6pm after being out all day. The front desk didn’t answer their phone. Actually I had to use my cell as the house phone didn’t offer a dial tone. I ate breakfast and one other meal in the dining room. Very average. Plus they had loud and truly awful karaoke on Friday night. Avoid that or bring ear plugs. Eat out, but not at Bubbas across the street! Fortunately, there’s the beach. It’s one redeeming feature.

Our 2 rooms were not ready despite being approximately 5pm and several others checking in also did not get their rooms until after 7 pm. The rooms themselves were quite dated and both had issues with noise. One had a broken air conditioner. The buffet was also not great and priced pretty high.
With some sprucing up of the hotel regarding maintenance and staffing this could be very good with its beach location.
I definitely would try a different hotel on a return trip to Barbados.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping was immaculate.
We ate at the hotel restaurant only once, for Sunday breakfast. We found the buffet to be overpriced. We later learned from fellow travelers that a smaller and more reasonably- priced breakfast is available to order from the menu, but the staff did not inform us of this option.
Our biggest disappointment was with the swim-up bar, which was a significant factor in our decision to select this hotel. The bar was closed for the entirety of our stay, with no explanation. When I asked, I was always told that it would re-open, “maybe tomorrow.”. Tomorrow never came, and the bar did not appear to even be stocked. This lack of transparency and honesty from hotel management was disappointing.

Another great stay over Christmas, you won’t get a better location, staff are great and good fun. Food is very good also, ideal location to going out and about, lovely manager’s cocktail party, great way to meet other guests.
