If you love golf, this is the perfect setting for a golf getaway with a championship course that features 18 holes, lush fairways, water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers. There is also a family friendly Par 3 short course called “Little Apes”. Additionally, there is a state-of-the-art golf performance centre, putting and chipping greens, and a driving range. Impressive though that is, that's not all on offer at Apes Hill Barbados Golf Resort, there's also sunrise yoga classes, bootcamps, nature trails, padel and tennis courts, and fishing in the reservoir. A range of three bedroom Golf and Sea View Villas

Each villa featuring an open plan interior with a wide panoramic view that begins at the entrance and continues through to the kitchen and onto the sheltered patio, seating area and pool deck. The 3 air-conditioned bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, the master bedroom (first floor) contains 1 king Bed with private patio, the first floor guest bedroom contains 1 queen Bed and the ground floor guest bedroom contains 2 queen Beds. The master bathroom has a bathtub and shower, other bathrooms have a shower only. There is a fully equipped kitchen, wine fridge, private pool, and BBQ grill.

Water sports equipment can be rented from Fairmount Royal Pavilion*. There are also a variety of bespoke seasonal activities, including cooking workshops, guided tours outside of the resort, boot camps, scavenger hunts, kite-making workshops for children, and freshwater fishing tournaments.

What a hidden gem! I cannot recommend this beautiful resort enough. The staff are beyond accommodating, and you are met with a smile and warmth from arrival at security, to the club, waiters and waitresses , guest experience team, and all staff around the resort. Our 3 bed villa was immaculate and finished to a high spec, including everything you could wish for, for self catering with amazing views over the lush 18th fairway, with accessibility to all amenities using the golf buggy. Our package included use of the buggy, 3 rounds of golf, breakfast and if required daily service of the villa. We utilised the tennis and paddle courts which were fabulous and easy to book! We hired a car and enjoyed access to the beach club 10 minutes drive away, adjacent to the Fairmont hotel and the beaches of the beautiful West coast. There was also a shuttle available from the resort. Having a car was helpful to access and visit other areas of interest on the island. A fabulous 9 days spent with our 2 teenage sons.

If you are looking for beautiful surroundings, the comfort of a resort but the privacy of a luxurious villa and the most friendly staff oh and not to forget an extraordinary golf course 18 holes but also a beautiful 9 holes course to play with your kids. I would 100% recommend Apes Hill.
