The hotel

Located on Maxwell coast, very close to the nightlife and fun of St Lawrence Gap, is Barbados Beach Club - a reliable, All Inclusive, budget resort offering basic but comfortable accommodation. The spacious pool terrace is a popular spot to lounge but if you're after something more active you're not far from the Barbados Golf Club, or make use of the on-site tennis courts. Plus you're right on the beach from where you can enjoy kayaking or snorkelling trips.

Where is it

On Maxwell Beach, a 10-minute drive from the nightlife at St Lawrence Gap. 20 minutes to Bridgetown. Transfer time from airport: 15 minutes.

Hotel information

108 rooms on up to 7 floors in 2 buildings with 3 lifts. Rooms are basic but clean, and offer a private balcony or terrace, air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi access, flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, bathroom, safe, and hairdryer. Superior Rooms have garden views, and 2 double beds or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

All Inclusive of: all meals and all local brand drinks. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is taken at the Poolside Restaurant. The Reef View à la carte restaurant is open on Mon, Wed and Sat and is included in the All Inclusive package (to dine at three times per week. Supplements are applicable for some meal items). All activities and entertainment unless otherwise specified.

Room upgrades

Deluxe Rooms have pool or ocean views and 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Superior Deluxe Rooms have pool or ocean views with either 1 king-size bed or 1 queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Casual Poolside Restaurant & Bar serving local cuisine for buffet breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. If you fancy a more formal setting for dinner you can head to the Reef View Restaurant for the à la carte seafood menu, also paired with local delicacies. You can dine here three times per week, but reservations are required (open Mon, Wed and Sat. Supplements may apply for some meal items).

DJ and evening entertainment 3-5 times per week. Manager's weekly rum punch party.

Swimming pool. Exercise room. Complimentary non-motorised water sports including snorkelling, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Water aerobics. Tennis court.

Complimentary WiFi access throughout the hotel. Gift shop. Laundry service*. Preferential tee times at the Barbados Golf Club*.

A Tourism Fee will be charged per bedroom, per night and will be collected at check out. The rate is subject to change by the Government, and varies by hotel room. Fees currently range from 8.75 Barbadian dollar (approximately £3.90) to 35 Barbadian dollar (approximately £16.00) per bedroom, per night.

Had a great time at the hotel in August when it's not the busy time of year. Lovely and peaceful. Most days had the pool to myself. Food was delicious and a good choice of drinks. Definitely hope to come back again in the future.

I can not express enough how much I enjoyed our stay ,forget negative comments it was amazing staff are wonderful the manager could not do enough for you was excellent, will definitely go again

OK it’s not luxury but I have returned time and again. The location is stunning I have always found virtually all the staff pleasant and helpful. The staff are now welcoming and friendly!! You actually have to make a refundable deposit for a beach towel no bath robes the food and dessert are 4/10 the wait staff don’t even offer a drink you have to go to the bar for your drink .. no ice cream for dessert or milkshakes … no snacks no coffee cream the balcony is a hazard with broken boards .… Read more

The elevator is old and barely works no activities to entertain guest no Al la carte on weekends … I indicated we were celebrating a birthday the birthday plate never came to the table … this is my worst experience …. From management to staff needs a revamping … I ask to have my breakfast in my room I was told no I can’t take my breakfast to my room …. Sunday lunch was the best time I ate while there .. only seafood you will get is probably pickle calamari no milk or cream in the rooms to make coffee or tea Read less

Nice setting with friendly people, can get busy at certain times of the day. Would definitely go back again on our next trip. Nice refreshing drinks too. I would highly recommend to anyone. Prices were reasonable which is always favourable
