Across the road from Paynes Bay Beach in St James, this hotel’s within walking distance of water sports, restaurants, a mini-market, the Paynes Bay Fish Market, and a snorkelling spot to swim with turtles. It’s just five minutes’ drive from Holetown, with its restaurants, supermarkets, nightlife, and shopping including the Limegrove shopping centre, and 15 minutes from Bridgetown. Nearby golf courses include Sandy Lane, five minutes’ drive away, Royal Westmoreland and Apes Hill, each 15 minutes’ drive away, and the Barbados Golf Club, 35 minutes’ drive away. Transfer time from airport: 40 minutes.

“Fantastic stay”

We had the most amazing stay here earlier in the year and booked to return for Christmas this year. We arrived to a warm welcome from the owner Robin, the apartment was beautiful, very spacious, sea view was stunning, just perfect for our family. Complex is very clean and well kept, fantastic amenities throughout. Great location. So excited to return in December

“Highly recommend for a self catering holiday”

We stayed at beach view for 9 nights in a 3 bed classic suite. With 2 teenage boys it felt very spacious. The owner showed us around when we arrived which was a nice touch. The apartment was clean, well equipped with very comfortable beds. Some reviews have mentioned the road noise, I’m pretty sensitive to noise and it’s really not a problem. It’s all part of the experience listening to the reggae buses going by!

“Enjoyable and Stress Free Holiday”

This was our second consecutive year at Beach View Hotel, which again did not disappoint. The hotel is located approximately 10 minutes drive from Holetown that has array of eateries and bars to suit all budgets. The drive from Barbados International Airport to the hotel is around 45 minutes. On arrival at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed prior to quick and painless formality of checkin. Robin, the owner of the hotel and member of his team escorted us to our accommodation and took time to point out facilities with our villa. On opening the fridge door, there was a bottle of wine and some food, which was a gift from Carrie, Robin’s daughter who co-manages the hotel. Our villa was very spacious and well appointed that enabled us to cook meals on alternative days during our stay. The whole villa is serviced daily by excellent team, which was much appreciated. Walking around the gardens of the hotel the following day, which are beautifully maintained, we noticed some enhancements, like a new Pirates Bar onsite, which is open to guests from Sunday - Wednesday evenings, where you’ll find David at the helm. Great addition. The onsite restaurant has new manager/chef with new menu should you wish, not to venture out far for a meal. In our opinion, Beach View offers good value for money but above all, Robin, Carrie and David work extremely hard to ensure your holiday is very enjoyable and stress free. All being well, we hope to make our 3rd stay at Beach View in 2026.
