We stayed for 4 nights at cobbler cove and loved it. Do know, if you go there, that it is not the best place to walk to other restaurants or stores. It is a destination, but worthwhile and you won't want to leave. The property is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. We got a room on the ocean and the ground level so it was easy to get around. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and there was deck seating right outside our room and along the ocean. We loved the attention to detail of the property, in particular the china - this is not something I usually pay attention to! I always use a gym when at a property and most times I am disappointed. It thought this gym was in the top 25% I have been to, and the top 90% for a small property. Good equipment, good setting and cool. The restaurant was good, although the selection was limited. We came to relax and that is what we did! It is the kind of property you can sit all day and look at the ocean. When we were leaving we stopped at a restaurant near the airport and the view was great, but the ocean was not as clear and was a lot rougher. We are glad we chose the west side of the island! I had never been to Barbados before and booked Cobbler’s Cove base on a combination of 1) good reviews and 2) price point (i.e., reasonable to other properties such as Sandy Lane, Fairmont). This hotel is a gem! The property is so charming with a very West Indies chic vibe. My suite was spacious and so nice and there was a lovely pool area with nice lounge chairs (despite not being “on” the beach). The staff was so friendly - the daily free boat ride was great and they set up a great hiking excursion for me and gave me great recs for exploring the island. During my stay I visited some of the other hotels I had considered for lunch / dinner and was very happy with my choice to stay at Cobbler’s Cove! It’s a bit north so I didn’t get to explore the south of the island but still saw a good bit. It’s also nice you can walk to a few places during the day (but not at night given the semi-existent sidewalks). Would definitely stay here again - a great place to disconnect for a few days! My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week at Cobbler’s Cove and are already planning our next visit. We arrived with a long list of things to do, but found ourselves mostly opting to relax at this gorgeous, serene hotel. We stayed in an Upper Circle Suite that was very comfortable & included daily french press coffee, as well as a well-stocked mini bar. We added the breakfast package (highly recommend) and enjoyed an extensive & delicious meal every morning. There is also a complimentary Afternoon Tea every afternoon at 4:00 that was a delightful treat. Special thanks to Dee and Davelle for such smooth service in both of these areas of the hotel. If you get a chance to have either Chantelle or Hazel for dinner service, you will have a blast, they are hilarious! The restaurant provides all day pool service - the sandwiches (and cocktails) are great. Thank you to Dennis, Gregory and Michael for taking such good care of us! The bar also had great music every evening - a fun end to the day. Although our favorite was J.J. & Chad on Sunday afternoon playing all the nostalgic hits. Shout out to Shaquon, Akeem, Pearson 1, Pearson 1A, and last but not least Virgil aka “the best cocktail maker at the bar”. You are all rock stars!! If you opt for a massage, we highly recommend Carla. She truly helped us transition and relax at the beginning of our trip. The lush grounds are one of the most beautiful parts of this property. One highlight for us was learning about the Frangipani worm from one of the master gardeners, Kennedy. If you visit, make sure to see this tree. We were also thrilled by a visit from 8 monkeys who were very friendly & silly. While the beach isn’t directly in front of the property, it is just off to the side and at low tide easy to access. The resort also offers many free water sports/activities including their own boat, making it incredibly easy to snorkel, jet ski, etc. Many thanks to Bradley for your assistance. Don’t miss the beautiful art in the dining room by artist Ras Ishi. Unfortunately, it’s not for sale! But thank you to Joanna for helping us track him down. We got to meet him and see a few of his newest works on our way to the airport. If you are in need of a dependable and trustworthy taxi driver, we highly recommend Herby with Gibbons Taxi Service 246-230-9245. He drove us to many dinners, and also on our last day to meet Ras Ishi, go shopping and have lunch at the DELICIOUS Sage Bistro in St. Michael (and it's on the way to the airport). He kept our luggage safe and sound and showed us some sights along the way. A couple of tips: Take the time to read the literature provided by the hotel. This may seem like a no-brainer, but there were a lot of things that weren’t obvious and it will save you a lot of time. (This was something that several guests commented on). It was located on the desk in our suite, but not super prominent. Also, Jordan’s is a nearby grocery store that is well-stocked and an easy 5-ish minute walk either via the beach or road. There is plenty of room in the suite’s refrigerator to have a few of your own items. Our recommended restaurants that are nearby: Local & Co., Baia, and Lone Star (our favorite). My only feedback for hotel: Sometimes , possibly depending on who was on duty (not sure), chair coverings weren’t changed. At this price point, we felt we shouldn’t have to ask. Other than that, just a fantastic week!! We are planning to come back & bring our family. Thank you for everything!! Read less

Cobblers cove is a delightful colourful colonial hotel, set in beautiful lush gardens, for those looking for a hotel that aspires to tranquility coupled with beautiful food and a ambience just special of its own Cobblers cove sits to the north west of the island , it’s about an hour’s drive from the airport which is to the south of the island, the hotel on arrival treats you as if you have just arrived home , the staff are so helpful and patient to ones every need, the bedrooms are colourful and extremely clean with your own small kitchen for tea making and fridges, most of the hotel is painted in the most beautiful pink stripes, the restaurant is in my humble opinion the most beautiful on the island, it sits looking out directly onto the ocean, at night time with all the tables lit it’s like an Disney set , just amazing, the staff are as you would imagine being Barbadian , are so relaxed and obliging to all our needs which contributes to a very relaxing vacation, The bar have amazing cocktails and a wide range of other beverages, most evenings there is live entertainment. For those who aspire to water spots there is a wide range of activities to suit all. In all a wonderful experience. Read less

Cobblers Cove is an amazing hotel. The rooms/suites are spacious and filled with light. - very comfortable, with a walk in wardrobe and a large shower room with a lovely circular window. The balcony overlooks tropical gardens which are immaculately maintained. The food at Cobblers Cove is delicious - menu is changed every night at dinner. There were so many sunbeds, all with parasols, and throughout the day you were offered fruit on a cocktail stick, cold towels, and sorbets, and Afternoon Tea about 4pm. The water sports are excellent and complimentary. The grounds of Cobblers Cove is so beautiful, but what makes this hotel so awesome are the staff. Reception staff even checked us in with BA and printed our boarding passes! All the staff are super friendly, smiley, and proficient at their jobs. Special shout out to Virgil at the cocktail bar - he DOES make the best pina coladas in Barbardos. Thank you to all the staff for giving us a wonderful holiday! Read less
