If you want stress free and quiet do not stay here The noise levels from the karaoke bars across the road are ridiculous and till 4am. We moved rooms 3 times in 4 days. There’s no beach but the pool is nice. Food is not great but restaurants around are very good. Hotel staff are not very happy, and do not smile or say good morning, but most Barbadians are lovely happy people. Hotel needs a facelift and proper sound proofing

First time in Barbados, and couldn't ask for a better hotel. Right on the sea front. Yes the beach has gone, but the swimming pool more than compensate for that. Plenty of umbrellas and sun beds. Our bedroom was spacious and clean. A comfy bed. Shower wasn't the best. Had to contact reception about it, and it was sorted straight away. A fantastic view from the bedroom balcony of the sea, the pool and the garden. Staff friendly and aprochable. We had bed and breakfast. Breakfast was from 7am until 2pm. Pretty good choice, not the best, but definitely not the worst. Glad we did the breakfast option. Yes you can hear music from the bars in the night in the room, but not when we were in bed. A real good hotel, and if I was ever in Barbados again, I would definitely stay there again.

Where to start. The hotel location and the view from the room were excellent but that was about where the good points stop. This is the fifth visit to the island and by far the worst accommodation. We stayed in room 201 which is a two room two bathroom apartment. To confirm other reviews, there is no beach (the pictures on the web must be decades old) and the music can be heard in the room as loud as the television in the room and goes on until midnight (although we didn’t mind this). The staff don’t care about their gusts and are rude. We had to wait until 16:00 to get into our room as it was still being cleaned (check in was meant to be 15:00). However, it really wasn’t clean at all! The room needs a really deep clean and maintenance is very poor. There was a hair stuck on the fridge for ten days as well a chewing gum on the top. When we first went to our rooms there was hair in the showers. We witnessed the cleaner clean bird poo off the balcony using the same mop used for the kitchen and toilets. The safety chain on the main door was broken and was not fixed during our ten day stay. The door to the balcony was secured using a tiny bolt. The kitchen facilities are very poor, one sharp knife, one pan, one frying pan and four of everything like plates and cutlery, making cooking hard. The hotel as a whole could do with a deep clean and maintenance. We have given it two stars as we did enjoy our holiday, just a shame about the hotel.
