Lovely Boutique Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Our room, an Ocean View room, was huge, modern and clean and we could see and hear the sea from our balcony. Unfortunately, our hot tub didn't work which was disappointing but the only negative. We were advised to request a refund from our travel provider, which we have received. The food was always top quality and the evening meals always amazing. Staff are always professional and most are friendly. We didn't use the pool area, because with a beach so stunning just over the road, we didn't feel the need. We always got a sun lounger and had cocktails brought to the beach which was an added bonus. The area around the hotel is a little quiet but we managed to get wherever we wanted to go with ease, ofen being picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Would definitely recommend!

A beautiful surprise!

The hotel has an intimate feel to it. We didn't feel like guest, but more like being at home with family. The views of the sea, and beautiful sunset was more than amazing. The food and drinks were excellent. Lounging by the pool was relaxing. I recommend this hotel any day.

There still seem to be some bad reviews about this hotel but we would not hesitate in recommending it. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and clean. Everything worked, including the hot tub. One morning the air conditioning broke but this was fixed within an hour. On the same morning the lift also stopped working but maintenance got it fixed within a couple of hours. The pool area is small but we never struggled to get loungers. The food was varied and always delicious. The hotel is quietly situated but in a good location to visit the Oistins Fish Fry on a Friday evening. There is also a bus station there so you can get to most places on the island. The ZR reggae buses pass by frequently if you’re brave enough to take a ride. We took advantage of the shuttle bus to the sister hotel a couple of times and enjoyed our days there. Would recommend the Sunday buffet lunch there, which is accompanied by live music. The beach there is lovely there too, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. From that hotel you can walk along the coastal Richard Haynes Boardwalk (1 mile each way) plus there’s shops and bars nearby.
The staff at the Abidah are all very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a small quiet hotel (44 rooms) this is worth trying and we intend to return.

Checked in to a freezing cold room. Turned off the air conditioning and the walls and surfaces covered in condensation. Hot tub was the filthiest I’ve ever seen. Finally cleaned after 24 hours but left cold with no instructions on how to heat it up. Extractor fan in bathroom not functioning so more condensation everywhere. Duty Managers beyond…

I had pre-paid unfortunately, otherwise, it’s not worth even half the price. A total disappointment.

Hidden Gem!

My stay at The Abidah hotel was nothing short of awesome. From Nikki at check-in who made sure our welcome mat was placed to the bartenders Rico and Kyle who made our drinks with love and other staff. The room was beautiful, jacuzzi was relaxing and the food was awesome from breakfast to dinner. I will definitely recommend The Abidah Hotel!
