Worthing Court Apartment Hotel

Barbados, Caribbean

Star rating

The hotel

A hop from the sands of Worthing Beach, this is a slick little set up for those wanting a private bolthole, just a few minutes’ stroll from a top Bajan beach. The setting also puts you around five minutes from party-central, St Lawrence Gap, and 10 minutes from Oistins (a must on Friday nights, when the Fish Fry draws in the crowds). You can whip up your own Bajan bites in your apartment’s fully decked out kitchen – but the local dining venues and poolside treats of Worthing Court’s own restaurant may both be too tempting.

We have recently returned from this hotel,July 13th 2025 and like many would highly recommend this as a place to stay. The location is ideal - on a main road running from Bridgetown down to Oistins and beyond. We walked from here to the roundabout just before Oistins and in the other direction to the Barbados History Museum - I will admit to not being a walker but this took about 30 mins either way, all on the flat - with ample places to stop and take in the odd beverage or too 🙂. The Worthing beach is just across the road, Rockley being a little further along ,with cut throughs to get down onto the sand, leading to the boardwalk, another nice stroll to stretch your legs. Food places nearby,Mojo's, Champers 5 mins walk, Tiki Bar just past this with Tapas bar a little further along. Right next door is the Worthing Square Market, plenty of food trucks with a variety of tastes with either a DJ on, or live entertainment. Not least forgetting the fabulous restaurant on site, best fish cakes we had, open for breakfast and lunch Mon- Sat. A steel band to accompany lunch on Wednesday and Karaoke Night on Friday which is well supported by the locals too. We stayed in a junior suite, and whilst a little tired it had all the amenities you could need, air conditioning in the bedroom, overhead fan in the other room, fridge, cooker, iron and board, safe, hairdryer, separate sitting room with dining area and outside space with table and chairs. It was however very clean, the bed was super large and super comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water, with a small step to go over to get in. The rest of the grounds are immaculately kept and whilst there we could see that they were working on some of the rooms giving them a makeover. The pool area, whilst not large is plenty big enough, it is surrounded by sun loungers, some in need of updating but there are also tables and chairs. There is a shaded area to one side and access to the pool is by steps with a hand rail. For shops there is a clothing boutique and car rental on one side and a large duty free store on the other. To stock up for supplies there is a Masseys directly behind with access straight from the hotel as well as a Clifton Market and others just further along. We would definitely stay again, not only for all the reasons previously mentioned, but especially for the warmth, friendliness and positivity of all staff members. A home from home. Read less

Let’s start with check in.. fairly simple, no passport needed. Room was large, and it was two single beds pushed together with separate sheets. As I rolled in the night you could fall between the beds lol. Pool towels weren’t provided in the room but I could get them from reception. No face cloths or toiletries provided. As I rolled in the night you could fall between the beds lol. Pool towels weren’t provided in the room but I could get them from reception. No face cloths or toiletries provided. Many cracks in door frame which allowed insects to enter such as cockroaches. I even found a cockroach in my bed and called the front desk to come and remove it and spray my room. I also called front desk to oil my patio door as I couldn’t even pull it open. I felt like I was an annoyance to staff and they were not friendly when I asked for assistance. If you are looking for quiet at night this is not the place. Between the road, mojos and Worthing square, it’s noisy. Positives.. pool was clean, walking distance to beaches, bars, grocery, gas station, and transport Read less

We had a lovely stay in room 307 after being moved from a noisy roadside room. (Thank you) spotlessly clean and well equipped s/c room with the whitest towels and linen. We were well looked after by Garcia our room maid who kept our room clean and supplied with tea and coffee. Central location to beach, supermarket, restaurants and a bus stop outside the main gate. Small but functional pool for cooling off in. Manager and staff very friendly and helpful. We were without water one day and the manager was quick to respond with supplying bottled water, use of hospitality room for showers and personally checked in with guests. We never got to use the little on site restaurant but what food we saw being served looked lovely. The only complaint we had was that the sun beds need replacing. One or two were dangerous when you went to lay on them and they suddenly collapsed in the middle causing you to “jar” your back. It looks like an attempt had been made to repair/rethread them but they weren’t secure/safe at all. Please get them checked. Overall we were very impressed with this little complex and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again Read less
