Blue Horizons was honestly one of the most beautiful locations we have ever stayed in. We were in Bungalow - or Superior Studio 2 and it was great for us. There was noise from the road at times but it didn't bother us, although our one night in Studio 1 was much noisier. The bed was spacious and comfortable and the room itself had everything we needed. The kitchen was good although the implements were old and broken and the cutlery and crockery (2 of each) was a bit limiting but adequate. The cooker was good enough to cook a three course meal if desired (we didn't of course!) The housekeepers came every day and made the bed and changed the towels if you asked for new ones and the room was always spotlessly clean. Everyone was friendly, the gardeners and housekeepers always gave us a cheery good morning. We didn't use the facilities very much as we were so happy on our own little terrace watching hummingbirds and small lizards We did eat at the Pool Bar three times in the fortnight we were there. We found the food expensive, the small menu was not very inspiring and sadly the lack of other people dining meant there was no real atmosphere. Grande Anse Beach was a short 10 minute walk from the resort and when we were there in early May is was deserted which was incredible. The sea was so inviting and we had it to ourselves. The supermarket was half a mile away and had everything you might need, It was situated in a mall with amongst other things a pharmacy. The restaurants were just a few steps further down the road from the mall and we enjoyed some lovely meals in Antonios, Cilantro, EastWest and our favourite Umbrellas which was close to the beach but easily reached by walking past the police station and along the road between the beach and the main road. NOTE: with the exception of Umbrellas and Grill Master, we didn't find any restaurants open on Sundays, I really wouldn't change anything except perhaps to invest in more kitchen utensils. It was difficult trying to flip a fried egg with a spoon :-) A couple of dollars spend would make all the difference. Read less

We stayed at Blue Horizon Garden Resort between 29.04.2025 and 14.05.2025 and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The accommodation comprises fully equipped, spacious and individual bungalows set in beautifully kept and tended tropical gardens with short stepped walkways round a central pool and bar area. There is a separate restaurant building raised slightly higher for those wanting cooked meals/breakfast but food is also served in the pool area I cannot fault any part of our experience, all the staff are really friendly and helpful and happy to chat, they all work really hard and every department (catering, admin, gardening, housekeeping) are all lovely, lovely people and a credit to the operation. There is such a calm, peaceful, laid back feel to the place that just makes you want to kick back, relax and soak it all in. Nothing is too much trouble and you really get the sense that the staff just want their guests to have the best time, which we certainly did. A well stocked supermarket in a neat shopping mall is a about 10 mins walk in one direction and access to the amazing Grande Anse beach is about 10 mins walk in the other direction and Umbrellas restaurant (highly recommended) is about 10-15 mins walk through the shopping mall There is so much more to say but space doesn't allow but we cannot rate Blue Horizons highly enough and should we return this would definitely be our accommodation of choice Read less

The restaurant on site actually had the best drinks we experienced in Grenada, while the food was also pretty good, and a perfect variety especially at dinner time. The view from the breakfast area is unmatched, as was the view from our room. The higher you go, the better the view, although you will need to do some stairs. The grounds are finely manicured but also very natural. The room was spacious and had a full kitchen along with a full bathroom, including a tub. The air conditioning was a bit loud but we were just thankful to have it. Lastly, the pool was lovely, although it would be nice to hear more Caribbean music. We would stay here again as it has everything we need, and at a price we could afford. Read less

Blue Horizons Garden Resort was excellent in every way! The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are well appointed and well spaced. We often felt like we were in our own private resort. We stayed in an ocean view room which was very comfortable and we watched the ships come into St. George's from our balcony with our coffee every morning. We travelled with family who stayed in the garden view suites which were also lovely. They were even larger than ours, and had lovely big terraces surrounded by palm trees. It was a very quick - 5 minute - walk to beautiful Grand Anse Beach, and also a quick walk to the supermarket to stock up on supplies. The pool area was lovely - the pool clean and refreshing. Best of all were the staff - everyone was so friendly. We loved the fancy, creative drinks that our bartender mixed for us. The restaurant by the pool was quiet and intimate, with soft lighting and music. The food was fantastic! We would highly recommend Blue Horizons and hope we get the chance to return some day! We had a small bungalow, not expected, ample space, fully equipped kitchen although you do need to have tea, coffee etc as none is provided but you can phone for drinks. There is a useful small mall nearby. A short 200m walk to the stunning beach, and a taxi ride or, as we did, cheap local bus to St Georges (avoid going when the cruise ships are in. To be honest, the really big ones, 6000 berth, are a pain. Taxis are not interested in anything but taking passengers on trips around the island). We cannot fault this “hotel” not really like a hotel at all, although you do need to be able to climb a lot of steps or slopes to breakfast and some accommodation. We so want to return! Ps the art around the resort is beautiful Read less
