My husband and I stayed at this garden resort that is a hidden gem for 10 nights! Its perfect location enables one to walk to famous Grand Anse Beach in 5 minutes. There are 32 cottages spread out over what is essentially a botanic garden replete with all varieties of plants and is home and oasis to many different types of birds. Each cottage offers a kitchen with all that you need to cook a meal. The Bertazzoni stove was excellent! The kitchen is easily stocked, as there is a supermarket right down the street that has a good array of products. The cottages are spotless and daily housekeeping is offered in case you want that, and each offers a porch on which we had breakfast everyday. Ours overlooked the gardens and we had a partial view of Grand Anse. The furniture is comfortable and the bed is very comfortable with reading lamps on each side ( this is a pet peeve of mine when these are not present). The AC and wifi are great! We found the peace and off the grid feel that we were looking for at Blue Horizons, even though everything we needed and everything we wanted to experience was all around us. The central location easily led to the roads and highways that took us to other places on the island that we wanted to see. We enjoyed the pool and the pool bar area and tried to get a swim in daily. The management here is outstanding! Nothing is overlooked and the staff was very helpful and courteous. You can tell as soon as you walk onto the grounds here, that it is a well cared for property and that the owner, a local Grenadian family, takes great pride in it. We ate at the poolside restaurant a few times and at the on-site fine dining restaurant once. All of the dishes were great and we enjoyed them! It was extremely lovely to walk back onto the grounds of this establishment after a long day out and around. We knew that quiet and peace awaited us each time. I recommend this eco-friendly garden resort without reservation and we will be back as we visit Grenada yearly because we love it and the people so much! Read less

All the staff were amazing we spoke with them all, they are proud of their work and never to busy to assist or chat. The supermarket is near by 5 mins. Grand Anse beach is 10 mins walk and the BBC beach is a 15/20 min walk up and down a hill. Both beaches are very quiet in May. Food options are various with the umbrella bar good value, La Plywood great for lunch these were our favourites we also ate at Savvy’s bar which had a great band on Friday night with a bonfire and very good food. Blue Horizons was honestly one of the most beautiful locations we have ever stayed in. We were in Bungalow - or Superior Studio 2 and it was great for us. There was noise from the road at times but it didn't bother us, although our one night in Studio 1 was much noisier. The bed was spacious and comfortable and the room itself had everything we needed. The kitchen was good although the implements were old and broken and the cutlery and crockery (2 of each) was a bit limiting but adequate. The cooker was good enough to cook a three course meal if desired (we didn't of course!) The housekeepers came every day and made the bed and changed the towels if you asked for new ones and the room was always spotlessly clean. Everyone was friendly, the gardeners and housekeepers always gave us a cheery good morning. We didn't use the facilities very much as we were so happy on our own little terrace watching hummingbirds and small lizards We did eat at the Pool Bar three times in the fortnight we were there. We found the food expensive, the small menu was not very inspiring and sadly the lack of other people dining meant there was no real atmosphere. Grande Anse Beach was a short 10 minute walk from the resort and when we were there in early May is was deserted which was incredible. The sea was so inviting and we had it to ourselves. The supermarket was half a mile away and had everything you might need, It was situated in a mall with amongst other things a pharmacy. The restaurants were just a few steps further down the road from the mall and we enjoyed some lovely meals in Antonios, Cilantro, EastWest and our favourite Umbrellas which was close to the beach but easily reached by walking past the police station and along the road between the beach and the main road. NOTE: with the exception of Umbrellas and Grill Master, we didn't find any restaurants open on Sundays, I really wouldn't change anything except perhaps to invest in more kitchen utensils. It was difficult trying to flip a fried egg with a spoon :-) A couple of dollars spend would make all the difference. Read less

We stayed at Blue Horizon Garden Resort between 29.04.2025 and 14.05.2025 and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The accommodation comprises fully equipped, spacious and individual bungalows set in beautifully kept and tended tropical gardens with short stepped walkways round a central pool and bar area. There is a separate restaurant building raised slightly higher for those wanting cooked meals/breakfast but food is also served in the pool area I cannot fault any part of our experience, all the staff are really friendly and helpful and happy to chat, they all work really hard and every department (catering, admin, gardening, housekeeping) are all lovely, lovely people and a credit to the operation. There is such a calm, peaceful, laid back feel to the place that just makes you want to kick back, relax and soak it all in. Nothing is too much trouble and you really get the sense that the staff just want their guests to have the best time, which we certainly did. A well stocked supermarket in a neat shopping mall is a about 10 mins walk in one direction and access to the amazing Grande Anse beach is about 10 mins walk in the other direction and Umbrellas restaurant (highly recommended) is about 10-15 mins walk through the shopping mall There is so much more to say but space doesn't allow but we cannot rate Blue Horizons highly enough and should we return this would definitely be our accommodation of choice Read less

The restaurant on site actually had the best drinks we experienced in Grenada, while the food was also pretty good, and a perfect variety especially at dinner time. The view from the breakfast area is unmatched, as was the view from our room. The higher you go, the better the view, although you will need to do some stairs. The grounds are finely manicured but also very natural. The room was spacious and had a full kitchen along with a full bathroom, including a tub. The air conditioning was a bit loud but we were just thankful to have it. Lastly, the pool was lovely, although it would be nice to hear more Caribbean music. We would stay here again as it has everything we need, and at a price we could afford. Read less
