“Amazing stay at this beachfront hotel”

We spent 2 weeks at this fabulous hotel. This small and friendly hotel sits right on one of Grenada’s best beaches Morne Rouge (BBC Beach). This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and what a welcome we received as returning guests. The rooms are basic however they are spotlessly clean. They are a very good size with kettle, fridge, air conditioning, safe and we always had fresh towels and always hot water. We had full breakfast included which was great, so much choice and all cooked to order. The staff are so friendly and attentive ……Deslin, Roxanne, Lorraine and Nakisha to name a few . We would like to say a massive thank you to Julia the hotel Owner/Manager for making our stay such a memorable one. We will definitely be back!!

We booked Kalinago for a very last minute trip in March and we were a little concerned about some of the reviews we read, but we had a fabulous time! Yes the hotel is a little dated and could probably do with a refresh but for us, the positives far outweigh any negatives. Our room was a good size with a gorgeous sea view. It was clean, had comfy beds, great aircon, lots of hot water and a fridge for some cold drinks. There was always a great selection of food at breakfast. The staff absolutely make this hotel …. Deslin and Lucille were outstanding! The beach is beautiful, we thought it was the best on the island. Yes the Rhum Runner comes into the bay some days but that didn’t trouble us at all. You get what you pay for and for us Kalinago hit the spot.

The staff are amazing If you are lucky you may or may not get hot water The beds are fit for the bin there is a piece of wood screwed to the wall to try and keep them together they are so uncomfortable. Breakfast ok nothing special we did not bother to try the lunch and no pm meals It’s in a very quiet neighbourhood to get out it’s a very steep hill to walk up Noise from bar next door very loud when it’s open Swimming pool is very dirty thick grease all around out side there were dirty plasters and tiles on the floor for the few days we were there not been hoovered once we decided not to go in. Bathroom has lots of mould in and around it Would I stay hear again a big fat NO
