The hotel

There’s something special about staying in a family run resort. It adds an air of authenticity, a warmer kind of welcome, and little extras which bigger hotels might just forget about. That’s what you get with True Blue Bay Boutique Resort. The owners know just what you need for a stay on this south coast bay, and they include family musts like a kids' playground and activities, local touches like rum and chocolate tasting, and free treats like Hobie cats, ocean kayaks and yoga classes. They even run a complimentary shuttle to Grand Anse Beach, and BBC Beach in Morne Rouge. Designing the hotel themselves, the Fielden family have added Caribbean touches throughout the resort, as well as those things you’d only expect from a big-name hotel; including four pools, a spa, a boutique, fresh bakery, escape room game, and a PADI-certified dive centre.

Great welcoming staff, and great experience for lunch and dinner! The pools were clean and beautiful! People there were friendly, both staff and patrons. Great gift shop! The bar by the pool opened at 1100 am for cold drinks. Lunch was served on the wonderful deck overlooking the bay. Would definitely return!

Great place to enjoy the island life. Went as a group of 20. Rooms we stayed in were comfortable and clean. Shower was a bit weird as water gets all over the floor the way it’s setup as it’s open with no barrier on floor but a glass wall across from the shower head. Traveling with a group of 20 was slightly challenging as food came out at different times and even though we put our room # on the order, the food came out disorganized. The food was great though. Bar service was awesome! Will definitely go back in the future. Read less

There were playgrounds for kiddies, kayaks, sailboats, paddle boards and even an escape room for on site entertainment. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and included a small kitchenette and refrigerator. You must bring an electricity adaptor if you have US appliances. The restaurant served a variety of dishes and hosted theme nights with different types of live entertainment. The service was really slow, however, so be sure to set your internal clock to island time and enjoy the slow pace. To this end, the bartenders were very friendly and created a variety of island spiced craft cocktails that can be enjoyed while waiting for your food. Read less

I took myself away for a birthday treat and couldn’t have asked for more! There was a great variety of food, and I really enjoyed the themed night on Wednesday too! - I did check out the container park nearby too, which has a great variety also. Staff were great, especially; Calvin, Arillo, Joy, Trevon, Leisha. (Please forgive me if I’ve… Read more
