Resort Fees

“Worst Luxury Experience Ever – Do Not Book Moon Palace Cancun”

We booked the Governor Suite expecting a premium, stress-free vacation, but this resort completely ruined our trip. Here’s why: Cleanliness: The first impression was shocking—dirty toilet paper left outside our room. For a property claiming luxury, this is unacceptable. Service: Staff were consistently unhelpful and dismissive. Requests took hours (if they were addressed at all), and there was zero sense of hospitality. Amenities: What’s advertised online does not match reality. The suite felt dated, and basic maintenance was lacking. Value: For the price of a Governor Suite, you expect world-class service and comfort. Instead, we got frustration and disappointment. This resort doesn’t even deserve one star. If you value your vacation, stay far away from Moon Palace Cancun. There are far better options in the area that actually care about guests.

Great trip to Moon Palace Sunrise that was highlighted by some special people who take trips from good to great. Our pool days were stress free and enjoyable thanks to the great hospitality and always a smile from pool Concierge Lizbeth and pool Hostess Amalia taking great care of us and remembering drink orders by day 2. Allison at the Unique Day Club made our time special and always had a smile on her face! Our food was great but tastes even better when interacting with some great waiters: Dennis the Menace at Momo, Issac at Pier 8, Samuel at Habbi and Riger at Gondola. Special shout to Habbi hostess Paola. David at the Sky Bar made a great drink and entertained us with his falling shots! Our SPA day was amazing and highlighted by the great work and awesome discussion with Liliana and Rita. The trip was stress free and managed professionally by our concierge Gladis! Tough to leave when you feel so at home on vacation.

Kids area is awesome! Staff here is so caring and kind. My kids were hesitant but they made them feel safe, which means the world to me. Shout out to Teresa, Yamilet, Avril, Paola, Ana! Kids staff is amazing!!!
