Resort Fees

“Don’t go in Aug if you want to swim in the sea!”

The pros, fantastic food, each unique restaurant meant you had something different every night, easy to book on the App and food is available around the clock, beautiful staff, great service - Anna, manager of the restaurants, what a gorgeous lady you are, loved seeing you everyday! Free arcade games, the dream for children, and the free body boarding and surfing activity, superb! The weather was lovely and the depth of the pool was perfect for a 10yr old and 13yr old. The spa on the golf course - Just utterly fabulously, particularly for girls under 13. Getting around the resort in the never ending golf buggies was fun. No smoking around the pool, another plus and loads of sun beds and parasols, fabulous! The lawns are very well maintained. 24/7 cafe is a greatest touch and service around the pool is what you expect on holiday. Now for why we wouldn’t go back. You can’t swim in the sea due to the stinking seaweed. And what a smell. You smell it in the morning, around the pool, and it’s foul. The resort do their best in reducing the impact because if you compare to what Cancun beach is like, it isn’t as bad as there, but still it’s a massive problem, so as a result there are midges that bite. The Sunrise pool and accommodation is not well maintained, old and tired. In fact the children collected over 50 mosaic tiles at the bottom of the pool that had fallen off in one afternoon. It’s not clean around the pool as well as it should, you’d expect the mornings to be free from dirty drinks and rubbish, but it’s not. Guests are allowed to play their own music from portable speakers around the pool which was like the battle of the bands most days, not very relaxing when they were all competing with each other, as well as the band playing music in the activity pool. Don’t buy snacks from the shop, unless you want to pay $12 for a bag of crisps! Now for the big no no, selling future holidays or memberships, even when you’ve just checked out! Get your day pass for the Grand but be prepared to go for your 90 min presentation!! Say no more! Thanks but no thanks.

We love MoonPalace. We always have the best time with the family. Everyone is happy, they all have their own things to do, or hang out as a group. The food is great, drinks are as strong as you want them, and the staff is always amazing! Eduardo and Daniel at the Nizuc Diamond Pool are always great! We love seeing them everytime we come. They both treat us all like we are the only guests. They are great entertainment too. We will always be back to Palace because of the overall service we receive! Thank you all for another memorable stay.
