Riviera Maya, Cancun

5+ stars

Banyan Tree Mayakoba is all about space, serenity and slow luxury, wrapped in one of the Riviera Maya’s most beautiful natural settings. Set within a mangrove ecosystem, the resort feels deeply connected to its surroundings, with waterways and lush greenery shaping every moment of the stay. From gliding through the lagoons by boat to retreating into your own private pool villa, each one designed for complete seclusion, everything feels calm, curated and deeply indulgent. Dining moves effortlessly from refined Thai flavours at Saffron to laid-back beachside moments, while the spa delivers the kind of switch-off that lingers long after you’ve left. Perfect for couples craving privacy or families wanting space without sacrificing style, this is a resort that lets nature set the pace and luxury follow softly behind.

I went here with my wife for our honeymoon. The staff throughout our stay went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable at all times. Special shout-out to Jesus on the beach for making us little feel like kings!
