650 renovated guest rooms and suites, designed in an elegant, contemporary style. In-room amenities include WiFi, smart TV, air conditioning, safe, coffee maker, minibar with water, soft drinks and beer, and a balcony or terrace.

Deluxe Junior Suites are 43 sqm, with one king-size bed and sofa bed or two double beds, plus an 11 sqm balcony or terrace. These rooms sleep maximum 4 people (3 adults and 1 child or 2 adults and 2 children).

All Inclusive includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and light bites, plus national and international drinks across the resort’s restaurants and bars. There’s also a 24-hour sports bar, coffee bar, ice cream parlour, daytime activities, evening entertainment and access to the resort’s pools, water park and sports facilities. “Dare I share how great this paradise is?”

After having visited quite a few all-inclusive resorts over the years in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and elsewhere, we’ve been spoiled and feel the search is over. Grand Sunset Princess and Grand Riviera Princess are the perfect combination of location, beauty, entertainment, and food options. They set the bar extremely high and we cannot wait to come back. While we upgraded to platinum (highly recommended for the endless perks for a relatively low additional cost), we spent most afternoons by the Fantasy pool. The entertainment team led by Sarah elevated our experience and we were so grateful for the hours of fun and games they provided. In terms of food, the à la carte options continue to expand and each one seems better than the next. Teppanyaki and Brazilian were among our favorites, though the Platinum Chill Out restaurant experience is a cornucopia of grilled delights on the beach front. Highly recommended!

ery large complex. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. They leave coffee in the room but no sugar or milk, bit pointless. Bathroom isn’t really private but wasn’t an issue for us. Air con very effective but very noisy if you’re a light sleeper. If you want a quiet peaceful break this place isn’t for you. Very noisy around pool areas with music, congo bongo, whatever that was, bingo, general antics in the pool. Ok if getting drunk around the pool all day is your thing. We’ve stayed at plenty of 5 star resorts all over the world. I wouldn’t class this as 5 star. All the little things that point to attention to detail are missing, welcome drink on arrival etc. first impressions and all that. The restaurants are stunningly decorated but sadly it’s style over substance. The food was bland, under seasoned, lacking flavour and in most cases lukewarm. The meat was tough, the odd occasion couldn’t even cut through some of the beef. Chicken dry and hard to swallow. Fish options were better. Service was slow. Staff were lovely but rushed off their feet. Single use mini plastic bottles for the toiletries in bathrooms. It’s 2026, a big chain like this should be doing better than this. Beach - sargassum not really an issue. However there is a large outlet taking the run off from the mangroves right in the middle. It created a large brown tannin slick in the water. While harmless it isn’t pleasant to swim in and has a sulphur odour. I heard several people saying they thought it was a sewage outlet, it isn’t. Reception ought to inform guests upon check in. You can walk further up the beach to avoid this. There are plenty of mosquitoes. The maid leaves your room door open for 15 mins a day while cleaning which bothered us as they get in and bite you in the night. Didn't appreciate the ‘pet’ monkey being paraded around by a staff member for photos, it’s 2026 and these are wild animals not be exploited for profit, shameful. Upon checkout they wouldn’t let the taxi through the main gate. Presumably due to the fact I’d ordered through the ‘in drive’ app, less than half the price of the taxis waiting in reception to rip you off. Naughty. We had to walk with our cases to the main gate, not good.

Loud, noisy, 5* hotel delivering 1* service. Food lousy! If you want a peaceful retreat, this is not the place. Full of drunk loud people and not relaxing whatsoever. The music banging out all day and people screeching on a microphone is excessive. The use of single use plastic is unbelievable for a hotel chain. Hallways to rooms, full of food plates, dirty towels and glasses that cleaners seem to leave for days on end. Absolutely not a 5*, although they create the illusion that it is. Won’t be back, would not recommend, please go elsewhere. On positive, staff are lovely, helpful and clearly work hard.
