“World class Chef intimate boutique resort”

Oct 02, 2026drqigong

We stayed at the beachfront by The Fives for 10 nights. Originally we were booked into. The Fives beachfront Hotel. But we moved because this was under renovation. So during our stay, we did not have access to all the restaurants and facilities at the Sister resort next door The first thing to say is that the beachfront is an intimate boutique style resort with only one pool on the property itself. Though as mentioned above, it has access to other pools normally However, we had access to the beach club pool next-door where we swam length every morning There is only one restaurant on the property, although when The Fives is open access to many others as possible initially this was a little bit of a problem as the menus are limited. However, the beachfront is just hired a world class, Chef, Chef Blanca, who I cannot say. Enough good things about! She is amazing. During the time we were there, there were three different tasting menus. Mexican, Asian, and Italian, which overall I thought was the best. In addition She prepared special meals for us on request Her use of flavours and spices were incredibly subtle and delicious. I loved her cooking. All The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Several of them deserve particular mention: Gigi, who is the manager; Gilberto and Yoshio - our day and night servers; and Lucl their supervisor, who made us feel at home and looked after us throughout our stay. Lastly, but not least the virtual ambassador . Team were wonderful. Lastly, although small the beach was excellent, and the views were spectacular This is most definitely a resort we would return to

“Dreadful, avoid avoid avoid”

Sep 12, 2026dafox1976

If you like construction noise from the phantom hotel next door (the tour operator does not know about it apparently (well known company in the UK) )and having your holiday ruined by D and V then this is the place for you. If not avoid avoid avoid. The only redeeming factor was the staff who were all great. The noise from the construction site starts at 07:30 until 18:00 Monday through to Saturday and is incessant with drilling, cement mixers etc etc. This hotel will be dwarfed by its new neighbour and the photos on the website are totally misleading. Go somewhere else

“An Amazing Beachfront Experience”

Aug 19, 2026356tarat

An Amazing Beachfront Experience! We had an amazing stay at the Beachfront! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The manager, Gigi, and J. Mercado went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our butler, Jamie, was extremely attentive—always checking in and making sure every one of our needs was met. We stayed in #10, which was right on the beach, and the location could not have been more perfect. The spa experience was another highlight of our trip. Miguelina and Margot gave us the best massages we have ever had! Tony, the spa receptionist, was also wonderful and made the entire experience so welcoming and relaxing. My only small complaint was that the water in my shower never got quite hot enough for me. Other than that, everything was absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to return and next time, we hope to stay in their hidden gem, #44!
