This place had everything we wanted, except one thing. That one thing is if you have a room that faces 10th Avenue, you will not be going to bed because of the hideous bang bang loud noise music coming from the bar next door. We bought a fan at wallmart and coupled that with white noise from our phone (speaker) and it worked. So, the hotel… Read more

We bought a fan at wallmart and coupled that with white noise from our phone (speaker) and it worked. So, the hotel should either have a fan in those rooms or update the sliding doors with noise proof sliding doors. The good: Excellent pools on roof, excellent room - clean, modern, comfortable. The breakfast is great! So they only really need to change one thing. Read less

I'm usually very particular when it comes to choosing hotels, and it's rare that I leave a review—but this hotel truly deserves one. Felt glad to arrive at the hotel after an awful airport experience. On first impressions the room was large and comfortable. We did not do much exploring on our first day due to a long flight etc. Went to breakfast the next morning only to find that our inclusive breakfast didn’t include everything! The meal on offer was dire, overcooked scrambled eggs, everything day!!!! Soggy tortillas with red or green sauce, every day!!! Refried beans, every day!!!! Sometimes some salty meat or salad on offer. There was a daily special on some days. Rooftop floor lethal, people slipping on the surface and the floorboards all uneven and loose. When they noticed them they put a wet floor sign down. Most of the sun-beds were broken in one way or another and the food selection was expensive and not at all inspiring. Finally the best bar was downstairs but it was only open for a few days of our stay. Also the bars shut at 8pm unless the weekend when it remained open until 10pm, yippee!!!!! I have passed this info on to our travel company hoping they will check it out. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating PDC is a bit janky. Roof top is full of « noise », Lola’s food is so so, and Mercatto has good brekkie and nice music.

Apr 26, 2025 kennethmB5372BM Anaheim, California

Lola’s chef needs some training in how to make nachos and fry or roast cauliflower florets. Also, the “music” at roof top is crap…either mind-numbing techno or ghetto rap. Both of which are destined for the ash heap of history. Finally, the smell of sewer in the rooms means there’s a plumbing problem. The music at Mercatto is very good though,… Read more
