I went with my family and we all had the most amazing experience we could have ever imagined. The staff was incredible. From the moment we met him, Eduardo Rizo was exceptionally attentive. He clearly has a true passion for his work, he always tried to make us feel so special. He prepared for us a delicious Mayan coffee. On our last night he gave us dessert to say goodbye, those are the kind of details you never forget. He always had a warm smile on his face, which truly reflect his love and passion for what he does. On the coffee shop (Coco Cafe) Jovani and Sheila were also wonderful. Jovani made excellent coffee and his latte art was amazing. Itzel was our concierge and she took great care of us throughout our stay. Teresa, our spa therapist, was incredibly patient and calm, she was fantastic. Israel at the pool, was also is great, always kind and helpful. Clemencia was our housekeeper and left our room spotless, I don’t remember the name of the housekeeper of the night, but also the amenities she left were also a very nice touch. Overall, almost all the staff member we interacted with were friendly and welcoming . The entertainment team gave us such a warm and thoughtful farewell, it was truly the best we could have asked for. The only downside was some noise during our first night, but everything was perfectly quiet after that. Hope to be back soon! Read less

The Dreams Resorts and Spa brand is one of the best all inclusive resorts to stay at. We visited this resort in 2021 and really enjoyed it. We recently came back in June 2025 and it has changed extremely cabanas in front of main pool block the whole front of the pool so it makes it difficult to get around all the people standing in the way to get to the pool steps.I am an unlimited vacation club member, but this review is my opinion as a person not my opinion as a member on arrival greeting was very well. Room was ready in a timely manner. Food is ok nothing WOW. The beach has a ton of seaweed on it. They are not trying to really clean it up. Seems it would be like a nice family resort the kids activities look pretty decent. There is really no need to upgrade to preferred. They do not check at the preferred bar or anything. The only thing you pretty much would get is a restaurant for lunch and breakfast and a little lounge. Chair game here is real around the pool so get up early.. Now I will go into my review as a member like I said greeting when we first arrived was good. Room was ready in a timely manner. We did get an upgrade from tropical view to partial ocean view. I guess you could say this resort is very loud in the evening pretty much whatever room you have had to call unlimited vacation club quite a few times and also the hotel Concierge to get extra pillows. It took three days to get a banner and some Pringles and M&Ms because the little things to us do matter. We never did get our mini bar. Restocked asked a couple times never received any liquor in the room as platinum members I’m pretty sure we are supposed to get liquor in our room a bottle of wine, fruit plate something I receive nothing. Also do not go by the app for restaurants being open as Bordeaux said it is only closed on Wednesdays and it was closed on Friday and on Sunday. We were asked to go to breakfast with them to see if we would upgrade our membership that they would give us 200 leisure cash and also $200 towards massages turns out we only received 200 leisure cash and they were going to charge us 249 for massages. I think maybe there was a communication problem but I was not paying the extra $200 so no massages. Needless to say we did not upgrade to a higher level membership because why would we if we can’t even get the little things in life at a platinum level . If anybody would want to join the unlimited vacation club, I would tell them not to. the membership is a rip off. Especially since Hyatt has taken over. You spend a lot of money for certain things and unlimited vacation club reps and resort concierge see our people just as normal people at the resort. It really is a shame. Our future will not hold a return visit back to this resort.. Read less
