Please ignore any negative reviews of Grand palladium colonial, have unfortunately just returned and had a Fantastic Holiday. Traveled with my Wife and sister in law, Welcomed by friendly and very informative reception staff on arrival and swiftly checked in. The Hotel was huge and set in a beautiful tropical gardens, which the staff work so hard to keep spotlessly clean. Pool area was large and well kept, pool was cleaned every morning, no shortage of sun loungers and plenty of shade. Pool and beach bars are great and the bar tenders are super friendly and funny. Food at all the restaurant's is very high standards, download the Grand Palladium App so you can book the al carte restaurants, and again all the staff are friendly and happy to help. Rooms are comfortable, spotless and comes equipped with fully stocked mini bar. Only downside was the Seaweed on the beach, this is the season and has been one of the worst in recent years, but this completely natural and the guys work hard to remove it. It didn't stop other guests or myself enjoying the sea. Overall Fantastic Hotel, Great Staff, Dream Holiday. Read less

Took our adult children and grandkids to another Palladium Resort (14 of us in all, age 2-to-74). Enjoyed a beautiful venue (though it was hot in July) and the all-inclusive benefits. Took our adult children and grandkids to another Palladium Resort (14 of us in all, age 2-to-74). Enjoyed a beautiful venue (though it was hot in July) and the all-inclusive benefits. Hotel amenities were very nice, though the rooms seemed a bit outdated in decor and style. Nonetheless, if know the Palladium business model, it’s excellent for families, small and large. This was our 2nd venture (first was Grand Palladium Jamaica - which was “excellent”!). Our children’s rooms were right near a remodel construction so the sleep quality the first couple days was not so good. We’ll likely try another Palladium as we like the all-inclusive, the mini-kids and kids clubs, many pool areas, and the varied choices of restaurants on premise. Read less

Fantastic 2 weeks at the Grand Palladium Colonial, rooms were a little dated compared to the other resorts and there was a musty smell when we arrived, however we preferred to call the room traditional and a spritz of spray sorted the smell. Sargasam made the beach largely unusable but there is lots to do in the area and did not impact our holiday. Beautiful surroundings and easy to get around the resort by foot or by the little carts that offered transport. Plenty of options for food and drinks, they definitely did not scrimp on the all inclusive options and staff were amazing. Especially Alexandra the hostess at El Gran Azul who greeted us each morning with a smile and a chat and made us feel so welcome and Jazi from POP who made us feel so welcome at the resort and always had time for a quick chat, both a true credit to the resort. Remember to venture beyond the resort when you visit, so many beautiful things to see. Read less
