We recently stayed at this hotel as a family of three—myself, my husband, and our 20-month-old—and overall, I’d say it’s a decent hotel on a large, nicely laid-out complex, but there were quite a few issues that made it less than ideal for families.
The room itself was a bit dated, but nothing too terrible. The beds were okay, though the pillows left a lot to be desired. We did run into a few problems in the room: the bath wasn’t usable, the shower was leaking, and there was no lock on the balcony door. With a toddler, that was a big safety concern. Our child could open the door easily, so we had to request a room change. Even though we had asked in advance for a ground floor room, they initially placed us on the second floor. Not great communication there.
In general, I wouldn’t describe this as a very family-friendly place. For starters, there’s no shade at all over the kids’ pool, which is a big issue in the heat. The main buffet doesn’t really cater to children either. In the à la carte restaurants, they do have a kids’ menu, but it’s the same everywhere and very limited. You also need to book these restaurants three days in advance, and even when they know you’re coming with a child, they’re often unprepared—we didn’t always get a high chair, which is frustrating.
There is the option to upgrade to the “family section,” which gives access to two more dining options that are a bit better for kids. But strangely, there’s more space there that’s adults-only. It kind of feels like you’re being told “you’re joining their family, but it’s not really for your family.”
Service was hit and miss. The morning staff were much more attentive, but in the evenings, you could be waiting quite a while just to get drinks. The buffet also had long queues because a lot of the food is cooked to order, which isn’t ideal with a hungry toddler. We ended up eating more at The Nest, where you could just order off the menu without needing a reservation—much easier and less stressful.
As for management—yes, I did raise my concerns while we were there. At first, they seemed helpful, but as time went on, I started to feel like they were just trying to keep me quiet. I was asked to sign paperwork, which honestly felt more like a bribe than genuine concern. I waited several days for a manager to get back to me and eventually gave up trying. It was clear they weren’t really interested in resolving anything, so we just tried to make the most of the rest of our holiday.
There’s just something about the place that doesn’t flow right. It looks nice on the surface, but it feels disjointed and not very well thought out for families with small children.
To top it off, our experience with TUI was disappointing. We paid for a private transfer, but there was no car seat (even though we’d requested one), and no one was waiting for us when we arrived.
Would we return? Probably not. While there were some positives, it just didn’t feel like the relaxing, family-friendly holiday we’d hoped for.

Beautiful Resort

This is a lovely 'spacious' resort that is very clean, has plenty of pools, fabulous restaurants, caters for all needs and very friendly helpful staff. With the opportunity to use walk ways through the jungles and meet plenty of native wildlife....what's not to love! We will definitely be back.
So great overall! Wanted to give a special shout-out to the sports activities they have those were so fun. And another shoutout especially to our archery instructor, Gael Victor, who was actually amazing — he was a great teacher and because of him I hit bullseye 🎯🥳 everyone he taught is practically Olympic ready now 🏹
Amazing experience for couples

rooms were a little warm but great food and service! The bartenders were great and really nice and friendly. the sports bar was a great place for lunch and the pools were not hardly crowded. the only problem we had was the room being a little warm.
