Sandals Saint Vincent

We stayed at Sandals St. Vincent for 7 days in the Lady Palmer Club Level room to celebrate our honeymoon, and it was, in a word, unforgettable. The views were breathtaking, the water calm and clear, and waking up each morning in paradise felt like something out of a dream. But what truly set this trip apart were the people. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with kindness, laughter, and warmth that stayed with us the entire week. The concierge team ensured our check-in and check-out were seamless, and their constant support elevated every step of the experience. Special thanks to Safanny from the Club Sandals team—my personal miracle worker. I was a bit of a “problem child,” constantly adjusting reservations and asking a million questions, but she handled it all with grace, a smile, and a fist bump. She made our honeymoon everything we hoped for. Dining and The People: - Gatsu Gatsu quickly became our favorite. Manager Jeffery runs a tight ship, but it was Zoe and Jozannie who truly stole our hearts. Zoe had us laughing all night, offering perfect drink recommendations and making the whole meal feel like a celebration. Jozannie greeted us with warmth every single time. We even hugged them before we left. Tricia, though we only saw her briefly, was lightning-fast and a joy to watch in action. - Sora was a standout—hands down better than anything we’ve had in Boston’s North End. The ambiance, the live violinist, and our interactions with Randy “The Legend” and Elisia made the night unforgettable. Randy brought the energy, and Elisia brought the island to life with her stories and drink recommendations. - Scrimshaw was the perfect spot to start our stay. Huge thank you to Alika and Shamialah who warmly welcomed us on Day 1 and helped us orient ourselves to the resort. Every time we returned, it felt like seeing old friends. - Perisol was our go-to for breakfast. The Jerk Pork and Breadfruit Hash with Bread Pudding is a must, recommended by Brittany, one of the kindest and most thoughtful servers we met. Her personality made us come back just to talk to her again. Drinks, Pools, and Good Times: - The Three Jewels Rum Bar was where our nights ended—watching Luke, Atu, and Lindelle effortlessly handle every drink request we threw at them (including a few curveballs). Try the Sunset—you might hate it, but it’s oddly perfect. - At the main pool, Ernesto brought his A-game to volleyball and got everyone involved with his perfect mix of encouragement and lighthearted banter. Jaffriea kept the drinks coming and the smiles going—an absolute legend in his own right. We can’t forget Kayla, who was always jamming to the DJ while sending drinks our way. Excursions: The Lovers Rock Sunset Cruise was stunning, with pods of dolphins swimming alongside us as the sun set over the ocean. It’s a core memory from this trip. A Few Honest Critiques: - Our fridge wasn’t stocked correctly on arrival, and it took a few reminders to get it right. - The candlelit dinner took over two hours, with a 45-minute gap between salad and entrée—not worth the price or the wait. - Sandals should invest more in technology infrastructure. As the week went on, we noticed more glitches—double bookings, mismatched reservations, and a clunky app. Even the in-room entertainment was dated (only cable or Chromecast). A modern resort needs a modern app with live maps, real-time updates, and better reservation management. Don’t worry though- when the tech fails, Safanny and the Club Sandals Team makes it right. - The drive in can be a little nerve racking due to the windy roads. Bring something to help- ginger mints, or even just a bottle of water. Despite a few hiccups, this was one of the best experiences of our lives. The island is stunning, the resort is beautiful, but it’s the staff who make Sandals St. Vincent something special. We left with full hearts and new friends—and we already know we’ll be back. Sandals St Vincent is absolutely the best! From the service, to the food, to the amenities- it was all fantastic! All of the employees were very welcoming and attentive everywhere we went. The whole resort is incredibly clean and well maintained. We could not say one thing that would improve the resort because honestly they have thought of every detail. As mentioned, all employees were great but a few we absolutely loved were of course our butlers who made the entire trip perfect - Uriah, Boneil, and Jannique. They made sure we always had everything we needed and were so personable! The director of butlers, Denika, truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. If there are any issues, definitely let her know right away and it will be addressed quickly. She even went to personally pick up my favorite wine since it was not at the resort. She also handled a minor issue on day one so our trip was the best it could be! All restaurants were amazing but a must do and huge shout out to all of the staff at Buccon on 6/7 at 6:00. I did not get all of their names but they did an extra special surprise for my birthday. It was very thoughtful. A few people who made it special along the way…. Randy at Soma, Moroni (a truly kind soul who deserves a promotion!) and Seaisha at Skrimshaw, Janeal poolside and Perisol, Jessilla at Butch’s, Kamana for the nightly cleaning and Darolis who welcomed us every morning at Soma’ for breakfast- all were truly stand outs with fantastic service that was above and beyond with such kindness, love and respect. This resort is magical. It’s in a cove and you are surrounded by beautiful mountains. Its perfect if you want to kick back and relax or even if you want to be more active! We did the whale watching trip and saw a huge sperm whale! We also did the bat cave snorkel and loved that too. I loved that they had activities that you can do like: Sip and paint, jewelry making and soap making class! I feel like that makes it even more fun to be creative and learn something new. The food was good everywhere and some had an island spin to them! Definitely go! You wont believe the atmosphere! Read less
