We just got back from our honeymoon at Sandals Saint Vincent and honestly… it was unreal. The views were absolutely breathtaking — photos don’t even do it justice! We stayed in the Bamboo Palm building without a butler, and we truly didn’t feel like we needed one. The room was spotless every day, with turn-down service each night, and the view from our balcony was out of this world.
From start to finish, everything about this trip was simply amazing. The resort is stunning, fun yet peaceful, and full of friendly faces. We met so many other honeymooners who quickly became friends — it made the whole experience even more special!
Most mornings we spent on the beach enjoying the included water sports — paddle boarding, kayaking, and even wakeboarding (so fun!). We also signed up for the complimentary snorkeling trip to the reef, and it was incredible. No need to pay for an extra excursion — it was one of our favorite days!
Getting pool chairs could be a little tricky at times, but we always managed to find a spot — and honestly, we spent most of our time cooling off in the water anyway.
Every meal we had was delicious — we never once had a bad dining experience or worried about food safety (which I sometimes do in other countries). Our absolute favorite restaurant was Gatsu Gatsu — the sushi was so fresh and flavorful! We also loved ending our nights at The Jewel Rum Bar, especially when the DJ was playing. Huge shoutout to DJ Maf for taking all my Drake requests!
We also really enjoyed the Bucaan dining experience — it was such a fun way to taste dishes from the St. Vincent culture and meet other guests from the resort. Definitely a unique and memorable night!
We also did a couples massage, which was a little overpriced but we enjoyed ourselves.
We met some amazing staff who truly made our stay unforgettable:
💫I want to shoutout Ojori from Gatsu/rum jewel bar for being SO fun and nice. He was always so happy and had the best energy! We loved him!
💫Also shoutout Tiffany, our waitress from Butch’s, for being so nice and a great server! She treated us amazing for our special steak night.
💫Shoutout Jonté in entertainment for always being so friendly, nice, and fun! He always remembered our names and we loved saying hi and playing volleyball with him. Such a sweet soul!!
💫And last but certainly not least shoutout Omali, the one and only, Rodriguez! Omali is part of entertainment and came with the fire energy everyday! He also somehow remembered ALL the guests names around the resort. He brought everyone together and made all the guests feel like family. We’re so glad we met him — truly a friend of ours by the end of our trip!!
All in all, this was the honeymoon of our dreams. Between the stunning views, fun activities, amazing food, and the wonderful staff, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re considering Sandals Saint Vincent — book it. You won’t regret it. 💙🌺
