Our stay was from 22-Dec to 29-Dec-2025. For our family, it was our first time to Bali. My husband and I have 2 teenagers - our son Noah - 16yrs and our daughter Olena - 14yrs.
The resort was perfect, and we are so grateful to all the staff as they were always friendly polite, greeting us all with smiles and willingness to assist us, and to give us the best experience. The rooms and the facilities were always immaculate - comfortable, clean with so many special touches given unexpectedly that gave a true sense of luxury and a feeling of being blessed. The views, gardens, nature of natural beauty surrounding every step in the grounds with wildlife of birds, geckos, and of course squirrels just a delight.
For us, there were 2 very special resort team members that effortlessly gave of themselves to make our time exceptional. Both Noah and Olena looked forward to seeing theses two staff members every day - Any day, that our plans meant we would not see them, they were missed - theses two people at the restort made our days feel special when we spent any time with them.
The first of these people is Sukas - we met him on our first morning at breakfast at the Banyubiru.
I was so keen to experience authentic Indonesian/Balinese cuisine, and Sukas was for us the perfect person to meet. He was attentive to my ask, creating and sharing with me his knowledge and passion for his culture through food. He truly made every breakfast immensely special and a true experience. Every time he engaged with us he made our whole family feel special, offering us the best of himself to experience a wonderful time highlighted by his professional manner, tailored thoughtful care to immerse ourselves into trying fruits in season, amazing blends of fresh drinks that cared for our well-being and good health.
Sukas, we loved every moment spent with you - We missed saying goodbye personally before we departed. We thank you sincerely for all your gifts of professionalism in service and the warmth of allowing us to get to know you - We will always remember and cherish our time at the resort made special through your care for us. Thank you.
The second of these special people is Risma, who we also met on our first day at the resort at the Saphire Bar. Words can not truly express how Risma touched our hearts, making our resort stay so special.
Risma was always checking in with us, making sure that while we were relaxing - spending time as a family or just taking time individually - that we had everything we needed. She is charismatic, warm, and with a smile that drew you to always say 'Yes Please' to another drink she encouragingly offered (especially refreshing Mojito's !!!)
We came back every day if our plans allowed to the Saphire Bar to see Risma and enjoy her professional service always making us feel special. Risma on the very first day we met took time to get to know us - learn our names and be interested in who we were - what we liked - so that she could give us the best service tailored to us. I was so impressed with Risma, as she shared with her colleagues about us, so they too could give great service personalised to make us feel special.
I can not speak highly enough of Risma, I honestly feel she has a wonderful future in he chosen career - She will be a great team member, leader and an asset to any employer lucky enough to have her as part of their business.
Risma, Sincerely thank you. We feel that you are a special person and your hospitality skills are excellent. The time taken with your guests brings a very special, unique touch to how your efforts to give the best service is experienced. Please continue to ask of your guests to get to know them and connect with them. I loved meeting you, getting to know you through your work, and how you are always looking to be your best, learning more to have experience that helps you improve. Our families' experience at the resort was made truly extra special because of your professional effort. We wish you every success in your future.
