We visited from Australia. We enjoyed our stay but some things were not good. Our direct pool room access was great. Loved that. But the room did have a musty smell when you first entered the room. The buffet was not good. Food was not kept hot enough and some dishes like bacon and sausages were left out uncovered for hours. I did not find anything in the buffet appealing or tasty at all. Having said that we learnt to order from the menu instead and that was fine. They did have some nice little cakes on the buffet though. You could get eggs cooked to order. Staff were all very lovely. Could not fault their manner. We went all inclusive. I would suggest not to do that. We paid nearly $800 per day and one thing that was included was a voucher for the Sea Walker. Reading the fine printed after getting there you could not go on this if your were over 70. We are over 70. The voucher had a value of $110 US My husband also had bad knees there. I asked at the counter could I change the voucher to use at the spa. That was a huge hassle. With me having to go backwards and forwards arguing my point. That has left a bad taste. There was a good range of cocktails but the wine selection was poor. There were only 3 wines included in all inclusive. One white one red and one Rose’. All the same brand. Can’t remember the name but not familiar. Some other wines were available for an extra price. But they were ridiculously expensive. Ie A bottle of Jacobs Creek wine which costs about $10 a bottle in Australia was $110 plus 21% taxes on top. Ridiculous. The spa was lovely but expensive. The pools were lovely. Read less

Pools over 2 sites, not close to each other. Which makes it hard when kids want to be playing in different areas and the pool areas are so fare apart. No activities around pool areas or games for to get kids involved in. Had 3 bedroom apartment which was lovely, but washing machine didn't work properly, given coin to use hotel machine and it… Read more

The reception area is impressive with a waterfall, coy and plants. Had an 85 minute hot and cold rock massage with Sri and it was excellent. Highly recommend. We booked massages in a group and we were all really well looked after. Sri, my masseuse, was polite and lovely.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. Amazing customer service, the staff are friendly, helpful, always with a smile. We booked an all inclusive package and when they say all inclusive they mean it: mini fridge restocked every day, room service included but we didn’t need it as we didn’t spend much time in the room. Some activities were also included: kayak, catamaran some other water sports and there was a game room with pool table, ping pong table, air hockey etc. The food was delicious and my partner is a fussy eater. They beachfront kept in pristine condition by staff raking the sand every morning in the early hours. In September half the hotel was still under renovation and offered us an upgrade to ocean view room. Waking up to that view was dreamy. The construction noise didn’t reach the rooms but we enjoyed a lower number of guests therefore no queues for food/drinks and plenty of lounging areas around the pool and beach. If I have to find anything negative I would say the drinks aren’t great like smoothies and such just no. Fruit juices are delicious and they make the best latte! It’s in a good location with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. I would say no to ice in drinks as it’s easy to get travel sickness. Use bottled water for everything including brushing teeth. Read less
