“Great location and very relaxing”

Beautiful resort. A little maintenance works taking place on the entrance which we didn’t know about but that’s ok. Guest services was quick and excellent as was transportation to rooms etc The resort is excellent. Easy to navigate and in beautiful Ubud settings. We were upgraded on arrival and the villa was excellent throughout. Lazy evenings in the rain sipping wine works 😉 In the restaurants food was 4 out of 5. Setting a 5. The only negative for me was the speed of service. The staff were attentive but often caught up chatting to colleagues rather than serving. Especially in the evening. Breakfast everyone is up early on resort and the restaurant is very busy yet staffing remains constant and under staffed for me. Tea and coffee has a ten minute wait. Which is not great if you’re against the clock for a trip as we were. The biggest issue for us was the resort had a lot of young children and this was not on publicised . Nor is it a child friendly resort in any way shape or form. It’s the last place I would take my kids but people are choosing this. Which kills the relaxation slightly with screaming babies next to you at the pool and in the restaurant. It’s a wonderful place that would be a 10:10 if there were no kids and more attentive restaurant staff. Thank you for the experience.

“Magical Mornings and Monkey Encounters at Maya Ubud”

Our stay at the Maya Resort in Ubud was unforgettable from the very start. When we arrived, a few curious monkeys were waiting in our garden to welcome us — a sign of the nature and charm that defines this place. The next morning, as I set out for an early walk, I was lucky enough to join a large family of about thirty monkeys on the first leg of my hike. They moved calmly and peacefully through the forest, completely at ease with my quiet presence. It was a magical and truly unique experience. Beyond the wildlife encounters, everything at Maya Ubud was exceptional. The meals were consistently delicious, the resort grounds were immaculate and lush, and the service was flawless — attentive without being intrusive. Each evening brought beautiful traditional entertainment that perfectly complemented the atmosphere. Maya Ubud is a place where nature, culture, and comfort come together effortlessly. It’s serene, elegant, and full of those small, special moments that stay with you long after you leave.
