This was our second stay at Maya Ubud, and once again we chose the Presidential Suite—a decision we never regretted. The suite is exceptionally generous in size and offers a rare sense of serenity that immediately puts you at ease.
FROGS who occasionally squeeze through the glass doors into the living room or bedrooms to shelter from the rain. They are adorable, harmless, and incredibly effective at keeping mosquitoes away—there were literally no mosquitoes at all, thanks to them. Teach your kids to respect all the wildlife and the strays!
One of the highlights was the cooking class with Mr. Wayan, who is patient, humorous, and passionate about what he does, assisted by the equally patient and charming Ms. Dyanita.
Dining at the Fire Grill in-villa was another standout experience. The food is among the best we’ve had anywhere, beautifully prepared by Mr. Tris Mas and Mr. Diaksha whom we met up with for the second time. His knowledge, hospitality, and engaging conversation made the meal even more memorable. We wish to converse with him again.
Our heartfelt thanks go to our butler, Mr. Puspa, who began assisting with our arrangements even before our arrival. He was one of the main reasons why we returned. The entire butler team deserves praise—every member serves with genuine warmth and sincere smiles.
Finally, special appreciation to Mr. Maya, the Resort Manager, who personally welcomed us and thoughtfully prepared a handwritten welcome letter.
