“Fantastic stay and actual status recognition unlike the UK”

The best DT Hilton I’ve stayed in, Europe and UK especially should get their service training from Japan as it was incredible! I checked in and was upgraded due to Diamond status with the receptionist walking out from behind the desk to show me how to get to my room. Fantastic castle views with a stunning room for a 3 night stay. Was given some extra amenities such as pillow mist for being a Diamond member. The breakfast was brilliant with Japanese, Chinese and Western options. Eggs and omelettes to order as well as various cooking stations and such a big variety. There was a wonderful dedicated breakfast host who would chat to you, write you lovely messages and remember what you did the day before and ask about it, incredible service! Gold and Diamond members were also given a voucher for a cake at breakfast. I used the pool which was lovely and quiet at night time with lovely changing and shower facilities. I also used the executive lounge for drinks and canapés which was a lovely way to chill after a long day of sightseeing and before getting dinner. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and I had the best stay in Osaka, highly recommend and I repeat Hilton managers need to up their game and train service quality standards to be much better in the UK!

We stayed in the Double Tree Osaka Castle for three nights before leaving Japan. It was a wonderful stay for the end of the trip. Relaxed, asthetic, and comfortable before long haul flight. A great place to take in the city of Osaka, easy to get transportation to any desired destination. Great breakfast included, lovely stay. And Aki in the restaurant is a wonderful ambassador - she radiates kindness.

“Excellent stay for the autumn colours in Osaka Castle park”

I stayed here for 4 nights in late November with an Executive Castle view room. Whilst there did not seem to be anyone to help with the luggage from the taxi stop to reception and the rooms did not seem to have a lot of drawer storage space , I had an excellent stay. Rooms were well designed, quiet and with good a/c. I liked in the bathroom that the amenities were in a drawer below the vanity area and the shaving mirror lit up automatically. Also appreciated the pyjamas provided. Pool and gym were good with a view of Osaka castle. Breakfast was very good and service was very good with compliments to Aki who gave me cards with blossom on it and this was greatly appreciated.Please pass on my thanks to her. Loved the Executive lounge ( served breakfast on Saturday and Sunday with excellent smoked salmon and avocado) especially being able to have a coffee in the morning whilst looking over Osaka Castle. Afternoon tea and Evening Snacks were very good. The views of Osaka castle especially at this time of year with the autumn ( koyo ) colours were beautiful. I loved waking up and seeing the sun rise behind the castle. An evening walk around the castle grounds with the illuminated Castle keep ( normally white but on my last night it was blue) and then only a short walk back to the hotel. Location was pretty good. I found the walk to the Osaka Business park metro line ( 15min walk ) very useful to go to the Tsurumi Ryokuchi park and garden which is very large and beautiful especially with the autumn colours. Overall an excellent stay at a beautiful time of year to visit osaka.
