We had our wedding at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, and it was without a doubt the best decision we made! From months of planning to the actual day and even after the banquet, the team consistently went above and beyond to make everything seamless, stress-free, and unforgettable.
Stephanie was our very first point of contact and supported our wedding journey quietly but reliably behind the scenes. Together with Sylvia, she truly impressed us with her problem-solving abilities, even at the very last minute, they managed to pull off what seemed impossible by arranging a changing room on the same floor as the Grand Ballroom for me before the second march-in. This saved me so much time and spared me from having to rush back up to the Level 28 bridal suite. They genuinely made what felt impossible, possible.
Sylvia, our main wedding coordinator, was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly accommodating to our busy schedules, patiently helping with payment links, logistics, and responding to our many questions (even when the information had already been shared before). Her calm, reassuring presence made the entire planning process feel manageable. On the actual day, her attention to detail and alertness were remarkable - she could even recognise our family and bridal party as they arrived and ensured they were well taken care of immediately. She also liaised directly with our external vendors + décor team, taking a huge amount of stress off us and allowing everything to come together smoothly. Sylvia even went the extra mile to help with little things like making a dinner reservation for our bridal party, allowing us to put the decor in the tea ceremony room the day before, greeting us at breakfast etc making our entire experience at the hotel feel thoughtfully planned and cared for from start to finish. Not forgetting the well decorated bridal suite with goodies and wine to welcome us🥹
Selina, our wedding butler, was simply amazing. From managing our check-ins to arranging rooms on the same level and securing upgrades, she took care of every detail with such warmth and attentiveness. As we stayed the night before, she helped to ensure that the room was cleaned/made up before the video shoot. On the wedding day itself, she ensured my dress was always properly arranged so I wouldn’t trip and made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout. Her care extended beyond the banquet, she continued to assist us attentively all the way until check-out, which meant so much to us!
Jeremie and his banquet team delivered flawless operations during the wedding. Service was smooth, attentive, and well-coordinated, ensuring everything ran perfectly throughout the evening. They even generously added more canapés for our guests, which was very much appreciated. The team also helped ensure our belongings were safely sent up to the room after the banquet, allowing us to fully enjoy the night without worry. The chef and culinary team deserve special mention as well!!! The food was excellent, with many compliments from our guests, and we only wished we had more time to enjoy every dish ourselves.
Beyond the incredible service, the Grand Ballroom itself is stunning!!! It’s newly renovated, pillar-less, and filled with natural light and beautiful outdoor view, making the space feel open and elegant rather than like a typical enclosed ballroom of 4 walls. Not forgetting how the team helped to make the aisle big and spacious for my huge dress! Also spacious foyer area so lots of space for decor and photobooth!
From start to finish, this was truly the most amazing hotel team we could have asked for. Every detail was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine warmth. We wouldn’t have chosen any other place for our wedding!
